Being among the more sensitive ones I stay away from the common "skunk". I like weed that gets me high as many times during the day as I want (2, 5, 10...). I even more like weed that gets me higher and higher with each smoking throughout the day (same quantity each time). That's special. Skunks don't even enter the competition here.

I know it is watered down, but cannacopias roadkill skunk is awesome. I thought my friend crowd surfed his canopy before he came over, there was no way that smell was coming from a bag. Buy 100 cannacopia seeds and find one roadkill dominant, it isn't the real thing but if it doesn't exist it may be the closest you get.
If that doesn't work for you maybe you can get cannacopia to lend you the roadkill skunk clone they used to make the seeds, she does still exist.

All the seed companys kept clones some were crap and died,, most kept males for skunk and the females they used in subsiquent generations of seed production were not of the batch the male came from and bottlenecked that bit further.. also what were old edd and wernard looking for in skunk?? (I bet to this day they do not know) They were too busy being put to shame by a out of town lad LOL seing his badassness for real after he TOLD THEM!!... I think I have it all efficient-sufficient under the burning sun on rich soil, sampling buds at all stages before harvest. I have grown and smoked many skunks (who doesn't?), don't get me wrong - I like the high of some of them. Especially of some skunk hybrids like Haze 19 x Skunk#1 (in another league) or Durban x Skunk#1 (strong tripper skunk). You can have some good bright green individuals if you grow enough Skunk #1, these have great happy high. Yet, with years passing I see less and less often good skunk. On the contrary, the worst weed I see these days is Skunk, followed closely by the power crap "white" family. And it's not about Sativa - Indica preferences - even indica strains like good old NL have less tolerance issues than the more sativa "skunk".
As I said, tastes and needs differ, "skunks" also differ, so with my dislike of skunks I don't want to invalidate the good impressions many people get from the skunk lines they access.
But I also expect not to be called "idiot" just because I happen to notice that more often than not you need 2 puffs of skunk to get you as high as the single puff did 4 hours ago, and that soon the magic is mostly gone and you get more burnt-out than high. That's the modern dutch skunk in my experience, sorry.
