Well guys this is really my intro thread, so i figured id share a little of what ive got going on. Currently growing 2 Purple Jems in soil. Mix i am using is Perlite, vermiculite, and my own mixed compost.

Currently i am at day nine with these, and there doing good. There under a 250watt MH at the time and then once i see sign of sex, ill switch out to the HPS.

thanks for the karma i appreciate it. I hope at least one is female, i am actually hoping for a 1 to 1 ratio that way i can collect pollen to make more seeds with her and start working on my own auto. Ill be putting these genetics on another plant too. I will be crossing them on to a Blue Hash Plant. this plant has great resin production so im hoping to get a nice auto with higher resin production out of it.

thanks for the kind words DUPLEX, yea i def. hope my male will pollenate all over my female ha! im gonna just harvest pollen next round tho i have been watching this male i got, and seeing when they bust open and release the pollen! i have trimmed him down alot so he has about half of the balls he would but his ass was just growing WAYYYY to fast and i wanted my lady to get some extra attention. But he seems to still be rockin!!!

Well guys just a quick little update, no pics at this time.....not till 2 week mark and trans plant. But i will share this. Checked on them today and PJ-1 is starting to show signs of branching already and is well on its way to its third set of leaves. PJ-2 is not far behind, some young branching signs can be seen on this one to, center of the plant is showing the tips of the third set, so all is well

Temps are still 76.2 and rh at a steady 55%

Well guys its day 11 of my two jems and they are doing great. I decided to go ahead and transplant them to there final resting place. Due to the plants rapid growth i wanted to get it to its new place before the root ball got to big to avoid stunting the plant.

Also you can see my LST plant here and it is coming together nicely. more than half way around the planter.

15 day update

15 day update

So tonight i go to take a few shots of my jems for you guys and clean my cool tube and i find a nice little surprise. Today i can sex not one but both jems.....Loving the fact that both have shown at this stage. I see breeding in my future.

The female you can see slight purple coming in on her top, its just a touch but its there.

Temps are still at 76.2 and the RH is right in the 50's

I have fed only one time with 1/4 nutes and they took it well. The feeding has been over 24 hours ago.

The one thing that i have a question about is should i go ahead and trade out to the HPS bulb. I am new to autos and was wondering if i should do the switch now or wait till week three. My gut is telling me to go ahead and do it now so flowering can kick in better but the other side of me wants to wait till i see more flowers. Any tip on this from you Vet auto growers is much appreciated.

Also you can see that early resin production is going on in both male and female plants, i was rather please to see this.

It is sooo much Fun..

Due to the plants rapid growth i wanted to get it to its new place before the root ball got to big to avoid stunting the plant.

Yup..I have done that before now.

It is a good trick to remember though if you are growing a male for a rush job.
Keeping them in a 2 inch breeding cube..keeps them small and they tend to premie flower/pollenate...
so it has it's uses.

IF you have a good..simple Universal compo..you can get away with that no probs.
They have been made to produce without too much care.

I find..IF they suddenly look as if they are slowing..mix a tablespoon of sugar in a pint of water.
Water at night..and if the leaves look as if they have lifted/perked by the morning..then they are asking..

Simple ferts..anything in the garden centre that says tomato/clematis food...will do them.

I grow my AF's on either a 400 or 600 hps..
cannot think ATM..kos:...)
but the AF's love them..they grow themselves.

Plants are looking Good m8..
love those chunky stems....

As always thanks for the kind words and the tip ill have to do that in the future.

as far as the nutes go i do have some FF liquid nutes that i have used in the past and like the results so ill use them on these. I have been feeding with rain water only and it seems to do magical things
