Neem is fairly safe for another 2 weeks or so...I will hit the girls with it today and in another 3 days to get any unhatched fuckers that weren't affected by the bomb. Then it's predators from there on out. -- I hope

 I know I am late to the Party, but in my Defense, I just found yous'e!

I have recently discovered and tested out the "Hot Shot -No Pest Strip". I got mine at Lowes for under $7. On my LAST Mite infestation, I did my usual Neem/Soap Spray, and seemed to get most everything. On the 3rd day, they rose again...$hit! Starting to sound like a sermon... anywho... I ran up to Lowes and picked up the Hot Shot. When the Lights went out for the night, I turned off my exhaust, and just hung it on the back of my canopy fan. Believe it or not, when the lights came back on after 6 hours, they were all dead, even the small recently hatched mites! Alot of the eggs had turned black, which I assume is killing them? So now I bring it out overnight, once or twice a week for preventative measures. In the morning when I plug back in my exhaust, I put the Hot Shot in a Zip Lock Bag to stop the bug killing vapor. Just 1 is supposed to cover over 1100 ft2?

I recommended it to a Patient of mine who had a major mite infestation in 12/12. He left it in for a couple days straight, and it wiped out ALL of the Living Mites, and most of the eggs.

The warning on the package says it is for areas that are not frequented my Humans. They dont recommend more than 4 hours exsposure per day, or something like that, please read carefully. We have not noticed ANY hazzards to the plants, but swear by its Mite Killing Properties, and it is also good for flying bugs...Thrips? Fungus Gnats? I have not had Thrips or Fungus Gnats since I got rid of all Soil, but I would bet it would work!

 Good Luck!

Ok, I have some updates and I want to give you folks a better idea of my setup. I figure pics would answer most questions.

The room is 8ft wide x 14ft long and has 8ft ceilings. I am using 3 1000w HPS during flower. I have three 3ft parabolics. For fresh air, I have a fan the blows 1370cfm into the room and the same blowing out. At this time I have no issues with temp (70-75 lites on/off) humidity is a small issue as we usually are pretty dry here...just been wet lately so I have been right at 50-60%. I am using AN Connesseur nutes and I just ordered the new "PH Balancing" from them...gotta try em! So the following pictorial is to get you caught up to today...feel free to ask questions/make suggestions, I as I am always willing to teach/learn something new:tiphat:.

Here's the res...notice I have it outside the grow room

Grow016.jpg

This is the room, where the lines from the res come in. The lights have 4ft parabolic reflectors

Grow001.jpg

The other end of the room, notice how I have the cords from the lights going out of the room.

The ballasts opposite the walls

Grow017.jpg

The other half of the room, planning to create veg/area here

Grow015.jpg

Today's stats:

PH - 6.2
Res Temp - 65
Room Temp - 72, RH 30
Using DutchMaster Gold and everything is at 400PPM, using only have strength for this week, then upping it to full doses.

Ok, here are a few White widows, these seem to have had issues with transplant. Maybe the fact that I gave no nutes for the first few days contributed.

Now these White Widows seem to have made it ok.

Blue Cheese - Spindley Fuckers

Super Lemon Haze - Kinda Spindly as well

And last, but not least...Kali Kush
Droopy due to lack of nutrients

that blue cheese strain is tits! does it have reduced growth speed due to smaller leaves?

No...I think it was due to stress...she's a real Sativa leaning Pheno, so it's just going to take about 1-3 weeks longer than the others...I do have the SLH there as well

ps. what lights are you using and at what wattage? cheers mate

What do you mean by what lights am I using? I have parabolic reflectors (3ft) and i am using 3-1000w lamps (gonna add some more next run)

Day 47

Day 47

Ok...did a res change while listening to the Senate put the screwing to us smaller growers. Never again multiple strains...canopy/nute issues/finishing time...make it too hard.

Ok a few pics of the girls....

looks awesome bro!

this is my first rip with multiple strains at the same time in the E&G and in veg keeping the canopy even has not been hard with some LST work. nothing drastic just bending. before my next rip i will be drilling 1/8" holes every few inches around the inner bucket lip to tie down plants for this exact reason. now i just have to pray the stretch inst too different between the strains otherwise all that veg LST work getting the canopy perfect was worthless lol.

also i was thinking if you run 8 lights per bucket you could run 3 strains and if you have 8 of each you can adjust the light some to fit the plant height difference of each. now the finishing is a whole different story got to just run strains that finish at the same time.

Ok...here is what I have learned from running multiple strains...

1. Difference in canopy heighth...means more stretch for the shorter plants

2. Using 1 res...you have to feed to the plant that responds fastest...meaning you cannot max out nutes for ALL strains.

3. Finishing time...tought to flush part of the system w/o flushing them all...with some finishing as fast as 56 days and some finishing as late as 77+ days....how do you flush only 8 of 24 plants???

So, based on my experience, it's too much of a pain in the ass and impossible to maximize...

How long did you veg these plants and how old were the cuttings if not from seed? They look great. I'm using River Rocks.

I got the cuttings very small...there are pics here. Took about 1 week to get them healthy, then I vegged for 3 weeks...they were all about 2.5 ft. Tall...

Just took 32 clones from the 2 Snow Whites - hoping to end up with 24 strong cuts. I am also opening up the other side, so I think I am going to have to get 24 of another strain -- thinking something very Sativaish...

Wonder what I can find around here that someone might wanna part with/trade?

Actually...knowing I don't have the room I thought...I think I will run 2 grows of 18 for a total of 36...under 6000W - 6 Plants per 1000W

man i wish i was in your position. almost 4 weeks of veg under 3k and they are 22"!!!! had lots of problems starting off like shit clones, heat issues, mixed my nutes wrong like a noob because i had family issues on the mind and was in a rush etc etc. i also did some lst work on most but some are natural and didn't exceed 22".

wow...im in the sammmmmme boat har har...got the shit shit shittiest clones...even shittier then yours. took me 2 weeks just to get all of them healthy...and now i am going to veg for 3ish weeks....the clone scene around CO blows...i say you take your 6,000 watt garden and ill take my 10,000 watt garden and we can just turn them into massive veg rooms and sell real clones...haahaha..

on a serious note..i might have some clones id be willing to trade..i have all my papers.

goto my grow to see the strains i have..

Never again...took new clones from my own girls....going to veg them while i am waiting to harvest here. I think I will be able to bring the WW down this weekend. If so, I will switch my res....and flush for 2-3 days (all) and then I will go back to nutes for the Kush and Cheese....those are the plans....never again multiple strains w/o multiple resevoirs/rooms!!!!
