Looking good Prop :rasta: Just a thought...I'd forgo the hose all together and just try mounting the fan to your present exhaust hole. You'd still be sucking air out from the top of your cab. With those bends in your hose, it'd probably be just as efficient w/out it. Just my :2cents:
Stay safe n stoned Bro :rasta:

lowrydergrower things are goin well, ill have to train them today, since some of them hit the top of cab.

vintner you are right, all those bends did cut air flow a lot, but I solve that with reducing intake area of the "free" end of Ypiece. Ive just taped half of that hole, and got bigger air under pressure in CT.
About mounting the fan directly to exhaust hole, if I got you right.....would probably work well if I only had one "room", but I have to cool down&filter the veg part too with that fan. and that way Id lost passive scrubbing too. Ill lose two bends of that hose when ill cut another hole just above pots, and lead the hose out just horizontal.
And at last, thanks for takin time, trying to help me, its much appreciated :tiphat:

#1cheesebuds, hehe got you know. All that wiring can be real pita, thats why this time Ive got me just plug&play lights. all i had to do was connect 3 wires for each 150. Ive also got me enclosed 4x55W PL-L kit for veg, but was to hot, so i had to remote ballasted it. Theres no science in that, all you have to do is extend some wires, so just go for it. Or follow vintners link for pic.

Im no electrician but somehow managed to wire up this fluoro frame for my first cab, by copying some lights i already had. my moto is...if it doesent work switch the wires :p hehe. But it doesent always end good :wallbash:

purplecream thx, still some work to do, but slowly getin there

3dDream,you couldnt say better...happy it is, MJ is some interesting plant to watch&grow, cant wait to play around more with them. Im only at 19day in flower today, but my minds are already in next grow, figuring out, what might work well. Ill probably toped clones above 2nd node, to get 2 main colas from top set, and one breanch of the lower set train at the botom. It would be nice if I could put three like his in one pot.

Capn welcome in, feel free to take a seat if you like, there are some nugs coming our way

Does anybody notice anything uncompleted in my last mod? Look at that pic carefully. Last few days the bottom bulb wasnt wired up hehe :whistling:. So today will be first real test of the temps. Anyway, had to bend a few tallest tops today, to gave them some headroom. Also gave them some nutes, 1/3 of the bottle dose (bio grow, bloom, topmax and biohaven). Dont have any meters so just hoping that nothing goes wrong.

day 34_12/12

christoph... thank you, you know we all trying to do best ....

headseed, just that you dont fall off :badday: :p:p .......my camera memory card is dead, so i made couple shitty pic with my cell. temp are still high....but at least i know whats goin on.
the intake temps were over 30°C since my exhaust is bellow the intake, all the heat was just sucked back in. so for now im just letin the doors opened a little, this way i get in the fresh air, not the heated one from the back.
ill probably mount darkroom louver on the left free wall. the question is..over or below the pots??....since im short on € atm, will probably do it myself. i came over DIY thread, for dose DRL somewhere here on IC, and cant find it anymore. If anyone could direct me would be much appreciated. all i know is, thats is only few months old.

oh god mannn *drooooool*

looking beautifaaaaal

did i say how much i love your setup?

ide say you should put the intakes lower that the pots, but im no expert on ventilation, i would go look at redgreeneys ventilation 101, just search up ventilation 101.

anyways, just my two cents, stop by my thread somtime brotha!

cheese:groupwave::trampoline::party: ;P:p ....they still have about half way to go, hoping they get safely to the finish line, and then ill prepare them a huge party with DJ Scissor (rep+..if could give it to you )

christoph, well actually i meant over or below the top edge of pots. if mounted below, wont that reduced air flow, since the pot will be right in front of it?
Anyways, im sure ill be fine when everything will be dialed in. i monitored the temps with door opened as on pic in prev post. and are almost there. Dont know why the min temps are lower in cab than the ambient are . Maybe couse the ambient were monitored about 1m higher than the intake were?? Or just maybe when i reseted the meters they werent at same temp.
Will look out for reds vent thread, thanks for direction :good:.and for sure ill drop by at yours...

hey prop, what were your temps like before you opened the door? my temps are stable around 25, but i was having some problems with them being in the mid 30's! and thats probubly why my plants were so stressed out. but if u can keep it just below 30 you should be fine. they like it warm in flower i think :)

im not sure how close too the wall your plants are, but generaly i think you want the intake to be as low as possible, but if u think it will restrict air flow, put it as low as possible, without restricting it, take a picture of ur empty cab and draw where you plan too put them and show us! also show a picture of where it would be with the pots in.

anyways, waitin for some good updates on your beautifull plants!

hey christoph, if i recall corectly, the highest mesuared temp was 38 and something after everything runing for couple days. at first i thought im fine, but then got worse day by day.So now with temps around 28, im more than happy, but i know that will drop a little bit more when will be all sorted out as it should be. at least this way i learn something new.

i drew thi quickly.....

1pic...below pots, with double wall on the back

2pic... above pots, with double wall on the back

3pic... if i lose the iner wall i gain another 12cm in depth wich alowes me to seperate pots a bit more, and can mount DLR bettwen easily. i have space for 25x25cm louver. (ignore the outake hole, it is there, but the air gets sucked out through CT .....rambling, bambling, sorry im just :smoke:
