lol, i guess you mean me DG when you say some folks , just to clarify, i have smoked full melt and seen full melt and even made full melt before, think its a little unfair for you to assume also because of a comment I made that some folks ( me ) have never had full melt replied to your pm also apologising for the comment i made, tc DG, did not mean to offend.

Having given it a bit more thought...it's actually a compliment that my hash was sooooo good that there was a thought that it
had oil in it....just lots and lots of every so gooey C99 trich heads, from stirring just right/resting just right....maybe it was that extra 15 mins packed in ice in the beginning that helped. I deviated a bit from Bubbleman's recommended resting/stirring times...not much, but everyone's kitchen isn't the same...I used frozen GN09 C99 trim and whole buds...and I think the addition of the whole buds made a difference. I have watched Gypsy and Bubbleman make bubble in the jungle in Jamaica (vid), watched Soma in his kitchen, made quite a bit of bubble in Amsterdam in years past...read Abby Normal's thread when he made bubble in Australia with Wally....and have simply practiced a bit, taking pointers from those I mentioned.

Or....maybe it was the dance I did while stirring....

If you let that hash sit out for a week to ten days it will dry proper. When bubble hash looks like taffy it is not ready yet.... it still has water in it ... let it dry completely and and it will break almost down to like a powder...smokes real nice when the water is out of it.

TexasToker: That is an awesome vid for sure! I used a boat paddle (short handled)....but a 2x4....that's insanely wicked what they made in Jamaica! An excellent viewing!

Heya Babba....very true....mine dried for a bit more than a week...was very crumbly...completely dry...to the point I thought I might have gone too far in that regard...it was just really pure from good quality trim and buds. Once it got vac packed for posting out to the dam, it compressed it. I have some pics of it drying...I'll see if I can dig those up!

The upper picture is dry and ready to smoke ... it started out like taffy on the bottom sitting on the plate .... really want it fine let it dry and then let it cure for a few weeks.

So glad to hear you let it dry ... even bubbleman says way too many ppl want to smoke it like taffy when the reality is it still needs drying time.

What's up Sir Paddi? I didn't see my Cinderella 99 BX-1 Bubble Hash entry in your pictures-- OP told me mine was #21 and it was not given out because it was too gooey! OP tried to freeze my hash to harden it and when it was frozen, he took it out of the freezer and it immediately softened up again- lol. The He said it was given out separately from the Judges packs...

Did you get to sample it Paddi?

In my experience this is also the case , my hash was the same for many years until i stopped squeezing the water out of it and just let it sit instead prior to chopping up ...
If you press the hash while it is still wet it will never dry properly , leaving it tacky .. In drier less humid climates it may not seem to matter as much as the hot humid place i live ,, it goes mouldy very quickly if any water is left .
I followed sams advice and cured the buds for many months prior to bubbling ..
I didnt really select anything special to bubble , though we had a good year , hot and dry , and great for producing lots of resin .

My hash was cured for 3 months prior to sending to the cup .

My entry is # 28 ....

Hey Everyone--I think that the fact that DG asked Me about having Hash oil in My entry is the biggest compliment!!!

This is how I got such PURE Full-Melt Bubble. I froze the fresh High Quality Cinderella 99 BX-1 trimmings right away (within minutes of trimming the buds). Remember, the better the trim material the better the Hash. Then let the trim chill for several days.

I used my full set of 5 gal Bubble Bags from 190 microns down to 25 microns. That's it and just let it dry in very small crumbled pieces like normal. Once the hash is full dried (4-7 days), then press by hand back together.

My entry was made up of 73 & 25 micron Full Melt Cinderella 99-- No dancing required!

In fact this Cinderella 99 BX-1 hash was so Pure, even the 120 Micron Hash is Full Melt!!

Here is a 52g ball of Cannabiogen Destroyer bubble made with all bud no trim. I also added approximately 8g of BHO made from GHS SLH. I still have most of this.
