Question:

We haven't given them any food for flowering yet, should we do that before transplant or right after transplant? I'm using GH Maxibloom, and since they're on 24hr of light now they'll immediately start flowering when we transplant into bigger pots outdoors.

looks good, keeping it simple like you did will reward you in the end, and your handy work is on point. good luck and i will also be peeping this out to see how well you finish.

" Foundation and top frame assembled "
In that first pic with the bare greenhouse structure just the pipe and wood.
Did you build that or did it come pre cut and you assemled ?

The foundation is a bunch of long 2"x9" lumber that we screwed together, the top frame is the top part of 2 carports. We didn't want to cut the poles to shorten the carports so we built a PVC frame to sit them on. Normally the peak in the middle is about 11' with the poles, with the PVC frame it's a little over 6'.

The lumber is probably too expensive for most people to do, but our property had a big pile on it when we moved in so it was basically free. It made attaching the cover very easy.

Yeah it should be plenty tall. Transplanting is done and I just got a bunch of pics, getting them copied off my cam now for another update.

A few quick pics from post transplant. Was completed in a storm on Monday so they've had a few days of sun now.

A little scorching on the plants we used Serenade on, it was all cloudy so I figured it was safe to use, then right after I spray the sun pops out for about an hour. :(

Still battling the powdery mildew on a few of the plants, what happens when we start getting buds? Is Serenade still viable or is there something a little more bud friendly to take care of it?

Guess this is a good time to say this is our first grow. ;) All advice/comments/suggestions are certainly appreciated!

Tomorrow is pruning day, that's for sure.

Also let me go ahead and just say the 100kb size limit for pictures is bullshit. 5gb of storage and 100kb limit? That's why my pictures are so small and compressed. Let us upload some real images icmag!

props man, very well set up for your first run. i dont think its too late to use a sulfur burner, i like products that give good results. to many more seasons in your greenhouse.

Is sulfur generally for bad outbreaks of mildew? I'm assuming powdering mildew is here to stay on these plants, not able to eradicate, just minimize it right?

We only had a couple plants that had a fair amount on them and the Serenade seems to have gotten rid of it for now. At the moment there are only a few plants showing some on a few leaves, I'm going to take care of it tomorrow once they're out of direct sunlight.

That green house looks killer bikhomes I am jealous haha. Pirate did a great tutorial here on building a diy sulfur burner which will keep the pm away. I had pm real bad but the burner got rid of it all. I'd make two and run them for two hours if it's getting to that point.

I second the lame restrictions on the pictures...let us have 5mb pictures if the storage is 5gb really? Personally I don't see myself uploading 50,000 pictures lol maybe 200. So, 25mb image uploads that would be sweet.

Lol anyways keep it up! Subscribed.

Very awesome, thanks for the link. Will this just suppress the mildew until a later date or kill it? I haven't read much on sulfur burners. The DYI burner looks simple enough to build.

Maybe we should start a petition for a file size limit change or something? hah

bikhomes, sorry a litle late on the reply. But i have ran just a 4x4 bed full of 100% coco/floranova and have done really well with that. Also, 5 gal dwc buckets with 3 part.

Dont be afraid to feed the holy shit out of the hindu.

The greenhouse looks badass...waaay cooler than my little hoop house. I always wanted to pulla light dep off too!!!

Nice, next run in this greenhouse will be coco and the Botanicare line I believe. I have some friends doing a light dep with that combo and the girls look amazing.

You just had a 4x4 tray/bed full of coco, no individual pots?

Thanks for the good words! :plant grow:

so nice bikhomes... this is one of fav greenhouse setups, very clean, subscribing.

i myself have always used botanicare.. love the stuff.

best of luck with mildew :watchplant:

Thanks trax, lookin forward to using Botanicare for sure. For now we're just keeping it as simple as possible. ;)

The girls got their first feeding. GH Maxibloom @ 1tsp per gal along with Maxicrop (dry) @ 1tsp per gal.

How often do soil growers generally feed? Every 3rd or 4th watering or?
