Hey guys  Long time no pics :)

I cleaned out my bubbler and changed the water. I haven't had room for more clones, so I've just kept two clones in the bubbler as motherplants. Their root balls had grown huge and the water was getting kinda yucky, so I thought I'd trim the plant, the roots and change the water. I haven't changed the water or checked pH level or nutrients or anything since I started out sometime back in february.

Here are the two clones I've kept in the bubbler:

Check out the roots! They've developed those in just two weeks I think :yoinks:

And after the trim:

To tell you the truth, I'm not sure how well they're gonna take it. I cut off 90% of the rootmass and trimmed the plant back to 2". My clones have survived beatings before and I generally don't nurture them very much.

Untill my big LST'd plant finishes flowering, I don't really have enough height to keep a motherplant, so I just keep a couple of clones alive untill I can start flowering from clone again :weed:

I transplanted a clone to soil (it's for a friend) and I accidentally tore off all but 2" of a root-string, so I put a plastic bag over the pot - that usually helps. I guess she'll be stunted for a couple of days but I haven't lost a clone yet, so she'd better get her act together and survive!!

I also found a bagseed in an old bag of thai weed I bought in Amsterdam back in january. The smoke was okay so I've given it a chance. Hopefully it's a female, but only time will tell :) It's going outside, so if it's a male I'll just chop it.

I has almost forgotten how much outdoor seedlings stretch compared to clones - maybe this one is very sativa and that's the reason. I'm keeping it no more than 1.5" from the flouro, so it must be genetics.

Day 68:

Hang tight, this is gonna be a long one!

Okay guys, I've been a bit slow with the pictures, but I've been busy! I can't really tell if there's a big difference though. The plant can't support it's own weight at all and I've been tying the nugs to each other to hold it together but it's still not enough. I should get some thin sticks to tie the stems to, but that should have been done a long time ago. To tell you the truth, I just want this grow finished so I can see how well I did and taste my first homegrown indoor weed :) I just snapped a few pics, but I'll post them after this update, once I get 'em off the camera.

:dance013:

I've also made room for a nice ourdoor grow where I'll be growing Purple Peace x (Erocket x Danish Passion) x Deep Chunk - a strain I got from an acquaintance.

I've prepared a nice spot in the garden. I think it's about 4-5 x 7-8ft. It's been my outdoor spot for 10 or 11 years and this year will be no different :)

I cleared it for weed, dug down 60 cm (2ft) and turned over the soil. I picked out a lot of Couch Grass and in two weeks I'll rinse and repeat! :jump: I threw in 2 wheelbarrows of compost, filled with worms. I had almost forgotten how airy and fluffy real compost-soil is. If I has adjusted the pH, it would have been the perfect soil bedding for my plants, I'm sure :D

The pictures aren't great I know, but my phone can't do better. I'd love to show you guys the whole garden, but I'm a bit paranoid about that, so I've cropped the pictures...

The red tiles help keep the couch grass and other weeds away, but there are trees growing nearby, so I dug down pretty deep to cut off the roots so they don't drain the soil too much of nutrients :p

I used to have a male kiwi plant living there too, but the winter killed him :( Oh well, I'll grow some new ones eventually :) The only plant left now is a Lupin. I took two clones from the plant and planted them somewhere else in the garden.

Busy weekend if I may say so myself!

Update!

This is one of the two smaller clones I have in the closet. This one's 8 weeks into flowering. As you can see it has stretched a lot, but the big plant is taking up a lot of space. Comparing the size of the buds to the space it takes up in the closet, it's easy to see why you'd go SoG instead. This plant was flowered pretty much directly from 4" clone.

Comments are always welcome :) I can't wait to harvest this shit!

Last week I bought a $6.61 illuminated pocket microscope like this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1328

This small scope is awesome! It zooms from 60-100x and is illuminated, so it's perfect to inspect trichomes. Also, shipping is free and it took about a week from Hong Kong to Denmark. Batteries are included and it comes in a nice makebelieve leather-casing. I can't recommend this scope enough :D

After inspecting the trichomes I've decided to harvest soon; thinking sometime next week.. Most trichomes are cloudy, but there are still a few clear left. I even saw a few turning amber, but only on the topmost buds and I really had to search to find one. I want all to be cloudy to give a good head high with some body buzz too. This is my first run with this strain (first indoor run too) so I don't really know when to harvest. I've smoked some from the guy who gave me the clone, and it can really be a racy head high :yoinks::woohoo:

Can't wait! :)

I spent half an hour trying to snap pictures through the scope, but my camera won't focus that close so you'll have to make do with my poor description..

I'll post harvest pics when I cut her down - stay tuned! :rasta:

looks great! i've got some PPP going too and it is a beastly plant-

:thank you: It's a true hybrid. Grows fast, clones good and medium-high potency.

Day 82:

Harvest time! After 11.5 week the biggest plant is finally done. I dried it out during the weekend and chopped it up this morning. Wet weight is 175g (6.2 oz) buds, plus what I've been sampling during the last week. ~100g trim (3.5 oz) and a bit over an oz of smaller buds and popcorn.

Enough said, here are a couple pictures for you.

The whole shebang:

A random medium sized bud and closeups:

Random closeups:

I'm pretty impressed with everything. The buds are very dense and the trim is just so frosty! I can't wait to churn out some good kief. I made a little ball of charass as well. That's gonna be a heavy night time joint.

The whole thing went about 11.5 weeks from switch to 12/12 and could easily have gone a few weeks longer. Most trichomes are cloudy with a 20% clear or something. Not all buds have amber trichomes but if I search for 'em I can find a few. I'm hoping for 2oz dry, but only time will tell. I have four more clones in the closet and I think I'll chop one next week. Compared to the buds I just harvested, I'm guessing they're packing somewhere arond 20-30g wet both.

I've hung the buds from a string in a big cardboard box. Now I just need to get some glass jars to cure in. I am so stoked!

How do you like it?

Thanks :) Yeah, they're really frosty! I hope to pull a nice yield for the low light. Can't wait to see where I'm ending.

As for the smoke report, here goes:

I've quick dried a few small buds and tried em out. The smoke is pretty easy on the lungs after 45 mins in the oven at 190F. It smells lemony with a hint of nuts. The taste is mild and neutral, but then again it hasn't cured yet. The high comes on slow and it keeps building for a while after you stop hitting. My face is numb but I'm still thinking straight. I'm easily distracted and I have a hard time focusing for more than a few minutes. My body is buzzing and warm too. I'm rolling joint number two now, so I'll get back in a while to tell how it hits later on.

An hour later I'm pretty baked. The sativa side shows as I'm still thinking clearly, and my head is racing. It's medium to high potency with a solid body stone. The indica side is very visible in the high too, as my eyelids feel heavy and my mouth is dry. It's a very good hybrid in growth and high and it looks like the yield is nice too.

hey nice detailed report- sounds like a winner- :tiphat: enjoy!

The smoke is pretty good anyway considering it hasn't cured :)

Nice grow sir. Ive got 2 PPP sprouting now, crossing my fingers I'll get a mom

You'll love the vigour! It grows very very fast :)

So far I'm pretty content with what the CFL produces. If I went SoG I could no doubt get better results.

This thread is 4 years old, so it's more likely that the grower removed his pictures by now.
