Well the past couple of weeks have been about the toughest 2 weeks I have ever endured. I am not someone who dwells in the past and its time to start looking ahead again.
Thank you prepress420 for your generosity and thank everyone for their condolences. I really appreciate all the kind thoughts and good energy everyone has sent.
We are really looking forward to the coming season and to presenting a new variety of first generation clones.
Peace to all and keep it chronic..

We have several articles about the BOS in Lake County...in the News Section!

If you haven't found that yet... here is the link.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=3

Here is the story specific to the BOS and the new ordinance:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=170019

Here is the alternative proposal from Ron Green and Ed Robey:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=170698

After having lunch with two members of the BOS I came to the conclusion that nothing will happen quickly, and they wish the state would make some clarification or pass a new law legalizing cannabis to take the pressure off of the local BOS.

Your attitude is an inspiration. Reminds me of another woman I know... We're glad to have you back at the helm.

This is my calling and it keeps me going in the right direction and gives my life purpose so I am very thankful to know such a wonderful gift.
The farmers market should be a really good one today with alot of on site vendors to visit. We've had a great selection of clones the last few weeks and the weather is (hopefully) starting to warm up. Its time to get our grow on.. :greenstars:

Stopped into the new location on Thursday and got to say. I like the larger place. I got lucky and it was a very nice day. A little windy, but the sun was out and it was a very nice drive.

Keep missing the lovely ladies though. Hung out and BS with the staff. Very cool place and wish I made the last event. I just can see the place loaded with all the members having a great time.

Checked out the clones and got to say. There was some nice clones and some lovely mom's also. I saw a lovely Casey Jones mother and a very nice Kush mother. Think it was a Hindu Kush.

Best wishes, sent a e-mail and wish only the very best, maybe I'll catch up with you lovely ladies next time.
Take care,
BG

We recently came across the Sour Grape. We're about 3 or 4 weeks from harvest and they are looking good. Stretchy but very interesting.
We'll have Sour Grape clones and meds available next month.
We are still short of vendors for Fridays. Saturdays have been really good with a fat selection of clones, seeds, medicine and medibles available.

What are the requirements to be a vendor, any fee's? I guess, how does it work? I have seeds and clones available soon, always looking for new genes. feel free to Pm me if it has already been discussed.

Ok I am a bit behind here and couldn't find any updates about the lake county MM Ordinances. I did find the file of this ordinance and it is not pretty here are some examples of what they will do to the individual gardener.

1. You will have to have a permit to grow no matter where you are.

2.You will have to have the property owners signature on this permit.

3. If you have 1 person on the property with a script you can grow in a 60sq ft area. 2 people 100sq ft.

4. Your plant have to be out of site from any road or neighbor, and have to be atleast 20ft from any property line.

(This one is ridiculous) 5. When Marijuana is cultivated at your residence the kitchen, bathroom and master bedroom must be maintained for use and is not to be used for marijuana cultivation.

Some crazy ass shit my friends. This will put an end to the outdoor cultivation in this county. We need to come together and stop this. Please spread the word let people now. This county depends on this!!

Here is a link to all the ordinances in one it discusses dispensary operations and cultivation, also individual cultivation(pg12).

^^Post away 2gone.

I'll follow suit in a day or two. I gave a cut of each '91 chem, banana goo, and nancy botwin to a friend of mine. He just harvested and got done with a quick cure so he gave me some nugs to test out. I just got through with the banana goo and it is good if not better than what I remember. Glorious smell that is beyond citrusy, not sure how it got the banana on there, any story to this? Anyways it's a wonderful smoke and the tangerine/grapefruit smell transfers wonderfully to the palate. Very uppity at first, but within an hour or so the indica effect takes over and to tell you the truth I'm fighting off sleep really hard right now, it could be from a very long weekend though.

He loves the '91 and thinks it might be one of the best strains he has come across and he's done a lot. Surprisingly he's not big on Nancy, his batch turned out really dark, not as trich covered or smelly as Bandit's. Jointed if you read this I might be able to get the momma of Nancy from him I don't know, but wouldn't have a place to harden her off, so that's why I didn't say yes then and there.

*Totally off subject and not sure if there are any beer drinkers on here, but I just got back today from Boonville Beer Festival at the Mendocino Fairgrounds and it was one of the best times of my life. It's an annual event and you can camp on site, so even if you aren't into beer I would highly suggest it. Lots of great cannabis going around too. One guy had 12 full mason jars with trainwreck and was doing 30 gram ounces for 200 bucks, kinda bummed I didn't take him up on the offer, but I didn't bring all that much cash and had plenty already. Anyways I plan on going every year until I am unable, if you're a regular or plan on going next time we should meet up over a campfire and share a beer and bongload.
