Greenlight! Which one is the right one ?

OKay i need to work in the dark period so i need a tested and safe green light.


Which ones are the right ones ?
No Nanners !
A bulb you yourself have used for more then one crop and have experienced a nanner free grow.

I saw some green flos at home depot , kinda nice.


So what type of bulb / brand ?


What store ?
Lowes , Home depot, Walmart, Amazon ? Special , online growstore.

yeah me too. i have one of those 13w green CFL party lights hooked up, only i've been to afraid to actually use it. Anyone know if its safe?

i have heard of people using the green cfl's you can get at walmart etc. i do believe i read that one guy had been using them for years and had no problems whatsoever. although i would like to get more consensus.

Here is what I did, and it works like a charm. You do have to know how to solder, or know someone who does.

- Bought an energizer 3 LED headlamp at Target

- Bought an ultrabright, true green LED (525 nm) from allelectronics.com (part #LED-57)

Replace the middle red LED in the headlamp with the green LED. (Watch the polarity, the LED's have a flat spot near one of the terminals. Keep it on the same side).

Voila!

What about if you just want to buy one and not solder it? I'm no electrician

Some hydro shops have a ready to go Green LED headlamp made for dark periods in gardens. All the LED's are green, not just one small one that you have to replace yourself like the one seen in the thread. This is pay, rip open, use.

Supposed to use the bulbs where the actual glass is green, not painted or coated green, because it could chip off or there's little holes.

Nice! yeah they sell em pre maid at your local hydro store they have hats lights head lights and ear lights that work awesome
just look for a green spectrum light and you should be fine i've used one since I first laid my eyes on MJ never an issue
its great to check how they are doing in the middle of the night and tight buds or whatever.
