new advanced nutrients calculator?

i was using the old calculator and was doing just fine on week 5, today i got to mix nutes and notice that they have changed their nute calculator, and none of the ratios are the same, so i was wondering what was up with the new calculator?

all the formulas are way stronger, the new bigbud is 2.5 timew stronger. 2ml/l isntead of 5ml
overdrive, also

all additives are being formulated to be used @ 2ml/l

ok, so all the recipes are being re-concentrated to suite the new calc, i get that, but what about tyhe diff nutes? theres some that are no longer there but there are new ones in replacement. and now instead of slowly upping my base nute ppm like the old calculator, the new one says to give a consistant 4ml/L all the way through the flower phase.

just looking at the calculator it looks as if i mix at that rate i will def be burning my plants as all the ratio's are much higher except the few products like sensizyme which instead of giving 7ml/L it now says 2ml/L.

Sounds like there's been some big changes going on at AN. Man, I step away from that site for a few days and I miss all the fun. I've still got AN on my shelves at home, so I didn't even think to check to see if anything changed.

To me, it seems like they might have streamlined their nutes if things are missing. They always seem to be changing up their products from time to time, adding new things, combining other things, etc.

Thanks for the heads up folks. Always good to see what others are thinking about things when they come out.

I'm a bit beyond the calculator using stage, but if there are new products out, then it looks like it's back to the drawing board when I run out of my current stock. Eh, it keeps it fun.

looking at the new calculator i have come to a few conclutions, AN is combining their products to make less bottles, for instance, the new connoisseur and sensi has the h2 and f1 premixed in it, hence the reason they are no linger on the calculator, bud ignightor is replacing bud blood, ect.....

so in general i believe it means fewer bottles to buy, which is good, but atleast i got the old calculator to finnish my grow, i got 2 weeks left and they change the calc,lol

You have the old calculator? I went to do a res change today and I cant access it. Just the new shit. Totally messing me up. I live by that thing. Any help??

Another calculator? Finally.

For the last year I've been on these boards, it seems like people have been whining about how the Advanced Nutrients calculator has sucked and now that it's changed, what happens? People whine about it.



Anywho, it does look like the calculator has shifted a bit, but if they're out with new products and formulas, that's awesome to shift the calculator too. I mean, can you imagine how many people would be whining if they didn't change the calculator? Ah, mass AN hysteria, I tell you.

So, yeah, it's going to take me a few days to figure out the new calculator, maybe even use it. I'm in the middle of something right now.

Personally, I think this is a great example of how AN takes care of their customers. New products, new gizmos...I'm all for it.

well, using the new calculator is pointless if your using the old products, so i guess you can imagine why i was like wtf, lol. i buy the 10L bottles, so i still have leftover stuff, plus my store hasnt gotten all the new products, they still have the old sensizyme(baught more today) and the old conny among others, so i cant jump to the new calculator without the new products, thats why i was complaining.


and GJ to dwarf with the link, where did you get it? i emailed AN and all they sent me was the old conny calc that i posted above, they said that the old calc link has been erased

I actually liked the old calculator were you could remove the products you weren't using from the 2+ program. I haven't used the calculator for quite some time but the new one seems promising.
