How am I doing ?? 4 weeks in flower

i took the liberty of posting one here for you
looks a little whispy for week 4 imo, you sure no light leaks? maybe its a long flowering strain? any more info on the setup?
Thanks cheeseman.. 250W hps strain is grapefruit.. also in veg are Bubble Jax and Gravity....only possible leak would be from under cab but how can I block that without block air intake? .. so also I had some problem like a week ago.. they stopped doing anything for about a week and looked really bad so i flushed and restarted on juice..which are G H flora line 3 part grow/micro/flower.. looks way betther than a week ago.. this my first cab so im sure it will take a bit to get it rolling

i just use a small piece of ducting for my intake, simply bend the ducting at least 90 degrees to stop the light from entering

ok so time whise the girl should be done this weekend.. but i had that problem for about 1 1/2 weeks and she looks no where near done.. buds havent swelled up or anything.. should i just keep her going in flower and wait to see what she dose? or you think she is a lost cause.. tons of buds... just didnt get real thick.. what do you guys think ??

so much goes into a honkin harvest - and your soooo close.
Take a chill pill and go mellow out for awhile.
I dunno what calander you go by - but your about 5-1/2 weeks by my count -- and breeders all lie - if they say 8 weeks - I figgure 10 or 11. And that's if the plant was ready to flower - if the nodes wern't alternating yet - it will take longer. Just cause you think - or anybody thinks a plant will be done in yada days, dosen't mean the one your growing read those instructions.
And we got no ideain the world what lights - temps - even nute package - have ya flushed yet?????

One last question - what color are your trics? THAT will tell you everything right there.

Exactly, if the plant doesn't look ready it isn't, regardless of what it said on the side of the packet of seeds. If your setup is basically ok the buds will continue to grow, swelling up considerably in the last week or two.
A £5 magnifier from ebay is the best harvest investment you can make, watching the tricomes is the only real way to tell if the plant is ready for the chop or not.

gotta wait it out bud, environment has a great deal to do with it also, but time will tell.

Really, get yourself a loop or scope and look at the trichs. That is the ONLY way you will know she's ready to chop.

thanks guys.. yeah i didnt wait to read this.. i started flushing 5 days ago but scraped it and went back to my juice. the juice would be GH 3 part nutes.grow/mirco/flower... running 250 hps. lights out temp is 78.2 lights on is 80.3 and 35% . strain is grapefruit. next round is bubble jax. using soil/perlite/volcumite mixture. ph run off is 6.0.....my other girls in my cab that are a couple weeks behind the one i was asking about and they are kicking this ones ass.. i will let her go and see what happens.. will post some pics soon and see what you guys think.. thanks all.. happy gardening

I think yud have a lot better luck getting the buds to blow up if you kept yer plants short by LST. This would allow you to put more and stronger light on the plant as a whole. Keep in mind a 250 watt light isn't gonna reach out very far. Less light = less bud..... The plant itself is healthy, although I did notice some droopy leaves in one picture? Ya might wanna water alil bit sooner to avoid this. It all helps in the end.... Every grow we learn and get better, so hang in there! Good luck. BC

If you don't mind, what are the dimensions of the cab? Do you have a thermometer or hygrometer with a wire on it, you know one of those in/out deals? I'm curious what the temperature is on the surface of the leaf around the top buds. How far is the HPS from the canopy in inches? And finally, how does your exhaust/air movement work? A temp. of 80.3 with the lights on is fine, but they do look wispy, hence this line of questions.
