I grow in coco 1lb bags.
i use advance nutrients grow, micro and flower..on my last order i received a sample of "carbo-load"..not sure if it did much small increase in mass or tightness of flower...can i get some suggestions of what would be a good addition to my feeding that may add to the overall finish of my buds??? there are thousands of choices and i am looking for first hand accounts or success stories of increased yield, aroma, mass..etc.

base nutes - advanced nutrients 3 part grow, flower, and bloom.

use hydrogrozyme...but really do not know how to use it.

use earth ambrosia & earth nectar
"Earth Ambrosia and Earth Nectar, from Soil Secrets, provide a unique blend of enzymes, bacteria, humus and mychorrize spores. This set of liquid inoculants gives your plants a nutrient-rich cocktail while bringing the soil back to life. The liquid state of EA and EN moves into the soil faster offering almost immediate results."

i grow in coco coir. under 150hps grwo cabinet..flower 2 plants at a time...one is 6 weeks in the other 3 weeks.
i usually feed with the advance nutrients,,,the next watering with plain water with hydrogrozyme..then back to nutrients....i use the EA & EN after cloning to help the roots develop.
i do not know the ppm because i do not own any meters...use distilled water.

i am looking for something that added during flower will make the plants explode
any suggestions?

A more through understanding of the plant. Tastes waaaay better than any additive too! :dance013:

Fortunately you can get that easily by reading here and working with them yourself.

Experience is the ONLY true bloom booster I recommend. :D

there are no magic bullets when it comes to products. much more important is to get the proportions of your main ferts right. but to answer your question, i use coco a+b, zym product and pk 13/14 once or twice during flowering.

i am not looking for a magic bullet..i have been growing the same strain for 3 plus years...dreamgoddess from MOD..being growing in general after a spinal cord injury in 2002. i have a through understanding of the plant and am very secure in my growing abilities. i do not grow with meters i grow by observing...the thing is i have a feeling that my plants could do a little better, get a little firmer..i am simply asking what other people use and their experiences..so thanks for the advice hydro soil.

gaiusmarius...i just started growing in coco about a year ago...i love it! but i was familiar with advance nutrients 3 part grow had been using it for many years. i was thinking that p/k 13 14 was third part of canna a & B..i thought it was the same as using a 3 part formula so i have not paid close attention. thanks for the recommendation..

I have always used a bloom booster at the end, as in the last couple waterings before flushing I give powdered Kool Bloom. I have used the Liquid Kool Bloom starting around mid-flower as well. I generally use these at lower amounts than what they recomend, usually 1/2 strength.

I am going to try Hydroplex this next time, a friend used it recently and his buds fattened up a lot bigger than without any bloom booster.

It is easy to burn your plants with a lot of the bloom boosters, so I usually also back off on the base nutes on those waterings that I use bloom boosters.

Dry KoolBloom for sure!

I've noticed bigger buds and more smell & flavor when used.

Other PK boosters do essentially the same thing, but I've found the dry koolbloom works great and is relatively inexpensive.

I would make sure my tops are pinched

secondly i would buy GH's KoolBloom, kinda crazy how potent this stuff is.

oh if i did not have co2, this would be my first choice.

Molasses and Seaweed, best bloom boosters around, most of the expensive booster products are based on em.

I use coco with Canna A+B as my base, AN Hammerhead as my PK, Dutchmaster MAX Bloom for my humic/fulvic and some extra PK, Dutchmaster Silica plus Molasses and Seaweed, don't see the need to add anything else. Might switch from Canna A+B to DM Gold soon.

I have a large container of carbo load that's gonna sit and rot. I now use molasses from start to finish accompanied by subculture.

I use Molasses as well. I give a few waterings throughout the cycle, and especially when I add the powdered Kool Bloom. The Molasses seems to enhance the uptake of bloom boosters, at least it does with powdered Kool Bloom.

Powdered Kool Bloom is a seaweed/kelp product in part at least I think.

well I would say CO2 would be MY first choice...But I would also suggest trying a SCROG or SOG to increase your yield. I know they are not additives but they work great if you've never tried it.

Wait...What?

time. more crops are ruined, [from the department of numbers pulled from my butt] by people harvesting too early, drying too quickly, and not flushing long enough.

if your crop tastes like hay, it was probably harvested too soon and dried too quickly

Ok... so you've compared your results with the strain to other people's results.... and you find your personal best just a bit lacking. I can understand that.

Have you ever taken meter readings and recorded them.... just as something to look at "after" you've finished your grow? Might find a 'bit of interesting' there, after comparing a few grows.

Personally, I'd add CO2 before messing with anything 'extra'.

ok without getting to crazy

add flora nectar,or bud candy at least from week 2 in flower all the way through
add big bud at week 2-5
add overdrive week 5-7
when doing this make sure your ppms are not to high
you will deffinatley notice an increase in weight and shinier flowers

if you can run a closed system add co2, look into what ppms and temperatures you need to run it at to benefit from it

I like that lineup peacetree, Big Bud is good stuff, mostly aminos with some PK, but it does add weight. Overdrive is good too, but I prefer other late flower PK boosters.

Floranectar or Bud Candy can be swapped out for molasses, I get molasses from the horse feed store for 6.50 for 5 litres so a tiny fraction of the price of the cannabis-specific sugar/carb products and works just as good.

Last cycle I switched to OverDrive for the last 2 weeks and Superlicious from Supernatural and got a noticeable change to sweeter and much more oily buds. Happy with the results.

im guilty of not reading his full post

if your hand watering in pots black strap molasses is deffinately the cheaper way to go and probably works just as good

as for other pk boosters pure flowers, pk 13/14,kool bloom and for the big bucks bloombastic, basically any pk booster

after re reading your post saw you are growing under 150 watts
might want to try to run some gravity? maybe to rock up some of the fluff you are probably getting.

anyhow goodluck and hope you get it dialed in
