Bleeding Plant

i was just wondering if anyone else has run into this in the past
only one pheno from the batch is doing it
it bleeds blood red when cut, but when grown hydro it doesnt

just curious whats going on
i've popped alot of seeds and never seen it

I've had 2 plants before th@ 'bled' something like watered down cranberry juice...I think it wat partially genetics and partially a nute prom....bot times I had run out of nutes and had to use 'miracle grow'...the blue stuff...

anyone else?

I have seen this on 2 of my plants, they were Black Death & ZoidChunk.

Not nutes because all the other plants did not show this and were fed the same nutes!

Genetics it must be but the other Black Deaths and the ZoidChunks did not do this just these two, so I dont really know what causes this or how it effects the plants!

I read about this in a thread by Sam Skunkman regarding the creation of Original HAZE.
What strain are you growing ?
I wonder if this might be due to the genetic makeup having some pure HAZE ?

Or maybe it was something else and the creators of HAZE simply didn't put two x two together ?

Maybe ask SAM ?

its called catpiss sativa round here
good bagseeds, but grown outdoor, so theres no telling about pollen source
the hydro is almost done, soil has a way to go
small but abundant trics, smells like lemon lysol and piss when rubbed
this isnt even the oddball out of the bunch
all smell and look the same except this one bleeds and another is short, dark and smells like pink gum with huge trics and compact buds

I guess this one isn't beleeding cause it is not red? I caught this one springing a leak after taking some clones, just thought it was cool so I took pictures. Might not be related to what you guys are talking about, but worth sharing

i thought i'd give more info on it and see if i get more ideas
i really dont want to bother Sam about it, its not that big a deal
the soil plant is being grown with Pure Blend Pro,& Ocean Forest
the hydro is chemical nutes in hydroton

i have had many Hemopheliac plants in the past that leaked clear like shown above, and seemed like they would never seal up!

this one even scabs black/red like we do

any of you Botanists out there got any ideas

its just so odd, its got my curiosity up

I have one TFD O.haze out of three that bleeds and scabs red, too... anyone have input on the final product from 'redblood' sativas?

I've seen it many times. It's really freakish when it happens. It makes me want to apologize to the plant and get it a bandaid!!

I vegged a Cheese clone for 27 days, topped about 6 times and EVERY time I topped her she bled blood red! I felt horrible, guilty and ashamed that I was "hurting" my baby girl.


Then I threw her into flower! got 19 more days left.

Sound like you have a "sangre de drago" cross.

Try rubbing some of the blood on a small wound of yours.
Hope you heal faster, hope you don't get stem rot.

Totally normal bro. This generally happens then you trim or prune. Also a great indication that the plant is feeding well. It'll clog on its own..

One of my chemdog x sour d's is bleeding. I've seen clear and black resin, but this is the first time with red. Kinda freaked me out. It built up under the surface like a blister, and ruptured at the top, oozing a bright red resin. I got 6 females out of 9 beans, and this is the only female bleeding!
