Its been about a week since I last posted. I had a lot of things to do out in the "back forty". My babies are now 1 month since the beans went into the soil and 3 weeks since they popped. I now have 23 going. Five in a raised bed that I built and another 18 in pots. I am raising them outside on the edge of a cliff face so they get a good bit of sun but the soil is only 3 inches deep so I have to provide it myself. Anyway i thought i would add a few more pictures for you guys. Thanx OJD and WSPMAN without your help none of this would be possible.

tomorrow we are expecting hard rain with thunderstorms and "gasp" tornados this will be the first time my babies with be exposed to the harsh realities of life. Man this is almost worse than having kids.

nope just let nature take its course. The strong will survive I guess. My wife keeps on teasing me about being on the side of a cliff in the middle of a thunderstorm with an umbrella over my babies

Why not bring the ones in pots inside for the storm?
