If it's distilled water it wouldn't be 8.5 it would be neutral like 7, you most likely are using the bottled drinking water which has mineral salts added for taste and too much of them at that. This might be causing your lock-out issues. Are you sure it is DISTILLED or does it say "Drinking Water" they are two very different animals.

That is weird that the distilled water is so high, but it really doesnt matter though because if the soil is a lower PH with nutes in it then the water PH is gonna change as soon as it goes in the medium. Can you check the ppm's of the distilled water? There must be some calcium or magnesium in it making that ph higher, if it was clean it would be neutral PH I'm pretty sure.

What kind of PH tester are you using, the drops?

let it dry out too. The pot needs to get dry.. like dry. If it starts to wilt you've gone too far, but the pot needs to dry out if it hasn't.

hey fooster. i also bought a sweet tooth clone from harborside on the 29th of march. this is my first grow and so far am loving it. i also have one xxx chem and one santa cruz og both from harborside. i gave just arowwhead distilled water to all the first week home then started the light doses of botanicare liquid ferts. they are all in fox farm ocean and are doing very well. i will start the 12/12 tomorrow. veg/flowering are all done under a 400w hps in a 4'w/2'd/5'tall myalar grow tent. i water every 2-3 days and feed every other water. im also doing a lst grow on all using fuzzy pipe cleaners. ill try and get some pics up. if they werent lst i would say they are about 12-14" tall

when you flush them, you flush out any nutrients. so yellowing will continue, but at a faster rate.

STOP flushing them!!!!

give them a good feed with a fertiliser than contains ALL nutrients, including magnesium and zinc, infact, use tomato food, 1 capful in a litre of water(this is a strong dose!). keep feeding when you water untill that 1L is gone. you should probably not need to feed for another 1-2 weeks, at the next feed, dont use a capful, maybe just half a capful.

Miracle Grow for Tomato's is some pretty good shit for growing pot I must admit lol
I used to take a big full scoop of it using their little spoon they provide and dump it in the hydro res & it always seemed to magically snap problem plants right back to green vigorous growth right before flowering. Can you give us the full run-down on your set-up man like lights, soil type, everything you can from start to now? That would be best before you start adding more stuff and possibly burning them up. As far as how big to grow them, I would not flower until they were at least 18" - 24" tall and bushy if they are going under a 400 HPS. I would be growing them under the HPS right now though, not floros unless they are some bright ass T5's.

WHAT SWEET TOOTH DID THEY SAY IT WAS? Or do you not know?
