Dark Energy ..who else uses this?

I used to use the stuff religiously. it smells like some rotten fish poo or something, but now that I know it's derived from human waste I just might give it a try w supernova again. I love Aminos. It StinX but it Rox! I got so used to the smell. it's not unbearable. I almost choked on a dog fart last night and in no way does it smell that bad.

Sounds Good, I was reading about this earlier. I've read with products like bush master or gravity can effect potency,smell/taste and yield - for the worse. Is that not the case with this Dark Energy ?

Dark energy is completely different. Gravity and bushmaster are kelp based products w dangerous growth hormones. DE is completely different.

Your def right though. Cuz it really does make a bushier plant with shorter internode with more growth shoots for sure. Yeah as far as compared to other products. DE does not affect taste or aroma whatsoever. So no worries. It smells like shit stains. But I woudnt sugguest using it in late flowering. Some people do. But if u use it as suggested ull be great I'd stop using it like 2nd week of flowering depending on strain of course.


edit - Exactly. I've ever used any of the other products truthfully. Like gravity and those others. But I'm DE is aimed at a different area. It def has cytokinin which is a hormone n auxins. But it just speeds up the natural process by giving it what it would create naturally anyway in the long run. If that makes sense at all

I just got a bottle of Dark Energy, it says 2-0-0. (something completely unexpected give the claim of 'reduced flowering time'/ 'boosted ethylene'.) They say not to use it with less than 3 weeks flowering, but i wouldnt add that much N anywhere past early flower. I wont be using this product during flowering at all.

Application rate is 2.5ml/Gal (as stated), and it really only smells bad in the bottle. Once its diluted into the reservoir, i didnt smell it anymore. (It does smell like 'waste' but i wouldnt say it smells like shit or farts)

I added it last night to two reservoirs, and did not notice any overnight changes. I wasnt really expecting anything, and am not disappointed yet, i just thought i would post my observations.

My AK 47 plants were showing sign of N def. I added 120mls of Micro, and 2.5 mls / GAL (120 mls total) of Dark Energy.

NOTE: Just to be clear. Application rate is up to 1 teaspoon / gal which is 5 mls per gal.

My plants OVER NIGHT are showing an EXTREME sign of health. Almost lush green leaves over NIGHT.. (12 hours...)

This stuff is legit.

btw im using ebb and flow 40 gal rez

i tried it last year and didn't se much results for the price. i remember it does cause ph to rise in hydro. i think i ph'd my rez to 5.8 and the next day it was at 8. when i talked to one of the tech reps they claim that you should drop your ec, so you save on nutes- or so they say.

i put it into two different (recirculating aerated) reservoirs, Using pbp base nutes, 36 hours later the pH has been stable.

I agree I see results everytime I use it. If you use It properly shake that bitch well before u use it. I usually add 1/2 tsp per gal. I love it completely. Only thing I really wish it was completely organic. It is organic material but can't be certified organic. Regardless it's good. I just startin using it with super nova not
a crazy difference but def gave em a boost for sure.

Dude. How could it be expensive to chill here bro I mean I get the point ur trying to make. But truthfully this is a great place for people around the world to share their experienceS. What works for one person might not work for the next. It doesn't mean you have to buy every product every strain all the hype dude. It's just what people use/used and they share opinion and input. That is the recommended dose for Soil, however you can go up to 5ml / gal with hydro. 1 teaspoon = 5 ml. My pH was at 5.9 before I added Dark Energy, a day later it was at 6.8 I lowered pH, and everything is fine. It's been two days since I've used this shit, and I'm fucking impressed.

The only place ive seen a recommendation of 5ml/Gal is the rinky dink feeding schedule.pdf (this chart looks like it was created using windows 95)(I got one of these charts printed out at my 'garden center').
The bottle doesnt say anything above 2.5ml/Gal, the data sheet says 2.5ml/Gal.

If your using 5ml/Gal, you sure as hell better be accounting for the 28N. Thats over a 1/4 of the way to 100N 100P 200K (lucas), without listing Mg, (a major component of ATP [Adenosine triphosphate]).

Im not saying 5ml/Gal wont work, (or that there is no Mg present) im just stating i would be wary, and thats not the approach i would take.

Anyone else reporting these pH changes? Im wondering if Dark Energy has different pH effects based on base nutes used.
I hate ΔpH, i want my pH to say where i put it!

I agree if you're going to be adding 5 ml / gal you'll have to make sure your plants need the extra 28 ppm in N. My AK 47 are nitrogen whores, so they love it

The chart also says 5ml/qt for foliar. Too me that's a shit ton of N, Im not much for foliar(ing), but i thought the the application rate to 1/4 of what would be added to the substrate. @20ml/gal Dark Energy has 112N :jawdrop:

i just started using DE
i used it on my veg plants and they GREW!!! it really makes a difference.
im also using it on my flowering plants but are on its first week.
currently runnung: J1, GSC, BD, Lavender Kush, SSH, Purple Urcle, White widowx Skunk#1, Whtie Rhino, Akorn AKA Snowbud, SFV OG, BC God Bud, Tahoe OG, Permafrost
