pot size for autos outdoors?

whoooooaaa..... calm down in here!!! i'm trying out 2 gal smartpots, the more initial soil an auto has, and no transplant shock, the better it will fare. i have seen autos grown in 16oz left-over beer cups from a pong tourney. i grew them... 8-17g/ea, very cool and space saving, bud didn't last long, and was dank. then the very next time, i grew the next 5 seeds, in smartpots, 1 gallon, nearly tripled the yield to 20-45g/ea. then i switched to outdoors with some dynafem roadrunners, and sour60's trying to teach a friend actually. should be fun. i plan on a may 15th start date. and a harvest date way before my full blooded outdoor plants, which will be in 5 gal smarties, with a late start to keep em smaller.

approximately one gallon per plant here. 7 gallon pot with 7 s.b.r's and it yielded, if i remember correctly around 120 grams. had to be cut about 1-2 weeks early due to mold forming.

I started reading this thread and decided to crunch some numbers..lol
all seeds germed and placed directly into 3 gallons pots.. pura-vida organics, liquid karma,mag-i-cal,coco,600watt cooltube,6" vortex..
this is the final dry weight on my last harvest...minus what I've smoked in the last few weeks..

sour60#1-69.6
sour60#2-72.7
white dwarf-69.4
maxi-75.8
easyryder 74.9
roadrunner 77.7

I think big pots are key and lots of light are key, I run 75 watts per sq ft.
I'm not here to debate with any body just stating my expierences..

Now those are numbers that I can identify with!....being of an idiot mind and "a kid" according to some...it would seem that the bigger yields come from plants that are grown in bigger pots....but hey...what do I know...I am not even old enough to be in this website and have never even seen a "weed" plant...lol...:bump::bow:
