How much do you think it reduces the stretch by starting flower with MH? I was thinking I would do the same thing.

well i've never tried it but heard it helps so far they are not stretching
so i guess it works i also have my lights 2 half feet from tops

I nail it with Phosphoload at around day 14. That product claims to stop vertical growth in one day. It seems to work for me. I let them stretch for 14 then make them get fat. You'll find that the PK has huge nugs down the branches. The thickness of the branch is more important for her flowers than the position on the branch. She will have very dense nugs all the way down to the stem.
The BBB is just a mess of a plant. It grows everywhere with out rhyme or reason. On here you'll just have to prune as you normally do and be ready to pick her at 49 days.

BBB does grow crazy everywhere she is the first to be steaked soon as she dont have fat stems
but so far the grow is going well and i will try and keep things this way
Yeah my BBB seems to grow sideways at times..... really strange, also mine seems sensitive to nutes? Anybody experience that?
I don't know about your room spacing but with 10gal PKs and the stems you have going the 1GPW seems more than doable, or 9kg, or 20lbs.

You may want to consider pruning the hell of to the plants so they focus on their bigger branches; but you know best how to fill that room. Like I said months ago I am a piker and guys like you and BG can do so much more with the PK than me, it is just fun to watch her in the hands of a master.

Mine (the Whadeezlrg strain) is a little sensitive compared to the PK, but is still a kush and can take a lot and keep on ticking. Also my bbb doesn't grow sideways she grows like the blood vessels of a cancer tumor (every which crazy way, no rhyme or reason).
That being said her 49 day harvest (flush at 42) was super premium and strong enough to tranquilize a mule on one bowl but tastes like candy

I would like to discuss a very tiered subject. Veg time. Often people ask how long do you have to veg them. Well here DG shows us clones on 2/10/10 and then he shows us a bunch of plants that are 3 days into flower on 4/13. So they must have flipped 4/10 or two months later (Feb. is a short month) than the clone pix.
It looks like DG will have a 56 day veg and 56 day flower a 1 to 1 ratio. I think this is about perfect for the PK. If he had few plants maybe he could do a longer veg, but as it is his ladies are holding hands so the time is right to flower.
I hope to see the next round of clones in the cubes just waiting for their chance to get into buckets The only problem there is I think they will be over growing their cubes in the next 53 days as these ladies flower out.
I guess I need a veg area half as big as the flower area to really make perpetual work.
So tell me about round two DG

well HS the veg time to me could of been better as all the spraying and me not watering right caused the PK to grow this slow if i had the room ready in time and co2 on them from beginning she would have done veg sooner and thicker.as for as round two we will wait and see what i do.lots of candy coming for june-july are you ready to light up

Yeah the structure of the PK looks like it's going to be a golf ball factory
She can hold the weight and I am ready to blaze, however her weight distribution is much more even throughout the larger stemmed branches; where as the SHS seems to follow the huge top cola pyramid style. The PK is best spread open and screen trained a little that way you can get the light close to many of the bud sights and the PK will naturally make fat buds all along the fat stem. Sapper branches will have a fat top nug and lame little things under it.

i trained her to have like 8 main colas tops so i am going to have to steak her to hold that kind of weight.look at my ssh i have side branches hanging cause of the weight i did the same to that grow all trained.i noticed on pics today of PK that the middle bulb was out so i went and looked and had to change it to HPS bulb tomorrow will change all to HPS.there not stretching guess cuz the light is 2 foot from tops and the way they got trained.if you look at pics you can see the internodes are closer then i see in other grows
maybe its the whole thing i got going.well will keep it coming for now things are easy and plants are in tip top shape
