What is the point of a remote control outlet? I can't think of a single growing use, besides maybe turning on a fan from the bed upstairs lol

turn onoff fans
turn on/off res pump
turn off EVERYTHING because of cops/fire/wh@ever
Handicapped ppl will find it useful also...

My 1st use of this device was to control an eletromagnetic lock. I needed a way to lock my old nice attic door discreetly without destroying it and looking out of place. I didnt want a huge lock on the door to my grow space. Now I can secure my door discreetly and it pops open with a push of a button... works..plus its damn cool in my opinion.

I then got another to control my hand watering pump. Keeps things clean - just got pot to pot and hit the ON button.

not grow room related I use one to turn off all of my tv/entertainment stuff...stuff that uses a lot of electricity even while turned off ..aka phantom power. :dunno:

Moisture meter. Stick it in the soil and it reads how much moisture at different levels. Only $6! Saves me from rotting roots and those G.D. gnats.

Lovin this thread!

Mine are Blumat auto waterers, best thing since the HID lamp IMHO:

Also Sentinel CHHC-1 controllers are a great value for all they do.

I also use a little rolly cart to move around at ground level, saves the knees. Kneepads are good too if your stuff is on the ground. Dimmable digital ballasts are good for long maintenance visits.

Float valves on hose timers are the best way to make sure your res never runs dry (see link in sig)

Ozone generators for odor control in transitional or "airlock" rooms.
