Hey my 2 cents is don't buy sensi nl, not because its a bad plant because you won't get it. Spent 170 plus, and its a no show. ordered on seedboo. Seedboo is awesome great customer service, they really do a great job. But sensi ships direct, so your on your own. I just picked up dr a's nl i'll post and let people know how it works out

theme here is that NL is a hybrid, which i think is kind of true, or was back in the day when it was bred

I would said the DP Oasis were very consistent among the seeds I grew out from a pack.
NL is a hybrid. Ive grown a bunch of different nL offerings over the years and in every case from every breeder, there has been 2 phenos
one green, short christmas tree/barrel shape with close nodes and heavy yeild
one that is taller and more pronounced christmas tree with purpling even before flowering starts. Outdoors, this pheno will finish over a week sooner than the green pheno but the green pheno is by far the best one in my view

and i believe you are correct dst, md. most descriptions claim a hybrid with 84% indica, ie descriptions of what is claimed as nl#5. sadly, a lot of what i have seen seems mostly sativa?
and peeps, when you make a post try to have some factual basis behind it as a bit of misinformation can run wild at times. nl is one of those that everyone has heard of or seen, but the nl out there is an impostor for the most part. sad but true. peace-biteme

I can not speak on different varaties as i have only grown out the NL from Nirvana and it has a few diff phenos, two of which i kept as mothers for a couple of years, i really liked this strain it is a hell of yeilder one of my best so far, i DWC with two plants in the same tub with the more sativa pheno i had and vegged it for two months while LSTing the whole time i put the two plants under a 1000 watter beside some others on a diff cycle, so the last month it was by its self getting all 1000 watts and it yeilded 13 ounces off of two plants the canopy from the two plants was all on the same level from tieing down and it was huge id say like 3x3 foot, i had to let mine go a few days longer than most people would like 70 days but it filled out so nice it had huge calyxs and was some of the best smoke i have produced. I love this plant and am about to re order it i was gonna get Dr atomics version but with the price and the above post i might just go with nirvana again as i had great results. This is one of my favorite plants and breeds very true as i hit it to one of my Hashberry plants and made my favorite smoke EVER, but i didn't know what i had so i didnt bother to keep a clone and couldn't get it to reveg so im gonna have to try to do it again.
as far at the post above where you said you wouldnt order from nirvana because of the sending method just order from a seedbank that stocks nirvana, i have grown out the NL and the blue mystic and both were fine smoke and for the prices you cant really beat them other than mandala but if you want known strains for cheap Nirvana is the way to go, you should order through seedbotique of course since you post here there is an add on the front page just click it and go there almost every one gets there seeds from them very quickly, also i have used with success drchronic and aliengrow shop the latter took the longest but it came and was exactly what it was suppost to be.

it wasn't only how they gave a shit about security the way it was sent the
seeds were very small 0 <-- see this zero well that's the size i received with all 3 strains.
I purchased from another seedbank and received my pure afghani seeds nice
and large dark brown O <-- bigger then this.
I will stick with SB & SBay on my next order.

Generally pure Indica seeds are very small, Sativa are usually larger but there are some extreme exceptions to this rule.
I know the biggest seeds I have ever seen came out of some mexican brick herb they were like green peas but brown. Some mostly pure Indica's like Legends Ultimate Indica are very small compared to other beans.

i'd love to know the history of this particular strain, the description of the nl#5 from BCSC sounds very similar

it tasted bland to me too, there wasnt any variation in the seeds i got, apparently you got something i did not, ive been smoking NL since 1991 and like i said, its not the worst ive ever had, i just had high hopes for a true NL as i knew it and was disapointed, maybe they mixed up my seeds with something else, i did get 18 oz off of a 600 so i was happy with that
