Advanced Nutrients - Sweet Leaf

yes sweet leaf was replaced with bud candy. I'm not a huge fan of bud candy i think floranector is a better product and after running large grows with both products side by side floranector will give you a better finishing taste.

Does this product exist anymore? Was it replaced with bud candy? Discuss...

Yes, Sweet Leaf was replaced by Bud Candy. While it's not one of my favorite AN products, I know a lot of people who like it.

And I have some friends who say that it works better, though it seems like it shouldn't since they're the same product, right?

The Bud candy is basically Carbo Load and Sweet leaf combined. I get a great finishing flavor and aroma with the candy.

And how about yield? the candy is supposed to increase weight as well as just flavor.

but then again... AN claims every freaking product they produce will increase yield...

Yeah it's all carbs/sugars your plants should swell quite a bit. Any carb used properly should help your girls awell. Bud candy, humboldt honey, unsulphered molasses etc...

But what I'm getting at is the stuff in the bottle ASIDE from just the carbohydrates. There's more in all these bottles than just diluted molasses

There are the full range of L amino acids which are the building blocks of floral production as well as a b vitamin complex for improved metabolic function and stress relief. Good shit, IMHO.

They don't necessarily use more, but the micro nutrients are chelated in multiple ways to allow easier and faster uptake. Their secret to larger yields is the fact that the ratios of n-p-k are correct for the cannabis plant. Most companies have an overload of phosphorus in their solution which leads to a P toxicity and thus, a lower quality/yield. Their ratios for their organic veg formula is 3-1-3, and their organic bloom ratio is 4-3-6, double the potassium than phosphorous.

They probably just list whats in the molasses on the label making is look like there is a lot of stuff in it. Molasses has tons of compounds in it, thats why a lot of generic "one part" liquid plant foods are molasses based.

Oh dear, this same old argument over why you should be using molasses instead of something like Bud Candy. Seriously? Molasses is for COOKIES people not for growing.

Brands like Advanced Nutrients make products that are specifically designed for growing MJ plants - not for adding to your grandma's special Christmas recipe.

I'm just saying that if molasses was supposed to be used on MJ plants, then it would grow somewhere near the plants in nature. Nature is like that - it knows how to take care of itself.

Use nutrients that are designed for growing MJ. That's the way you're going to get a good harvest and easy growing experience.

I mean, some people can get away with the molasses thing, but it just seems like something that's going to hurt you more than it's going to help you.

Just saying.................................:tiphat:

there is something else than molasse in bud candy...taste it...it taste like ass....and its recommended to stop to use it 1 week before the flush . there is some stuff in it for shure . i even flushed with molasse in the past and the bud tasted great and burned well/white residual .

i try it actually and it seems to work well in conjunction with pure blend pro, karma, humic, fulvic and overdrive...i know i do bastard mixes lol but it work for me .
