I have grown 3 different phenos of purple wreck from seed, blue hash, mazar, etc. and I have a pheno of purple wreck that I think is going to be awesome for a sog.. grows mainly thick single tops, tight branches, if any.

DNA seeds, didn't go to the doc...you could say there was an 'attitude'.
Only popped one fem so far, but there seems to be some private breeder seeds going around on the threads. Haven't flowered her yet, but about to head into that. She just grows like a poppy, very cabbage then the leaves are crinkled and not really the standard pot leaf. It doesn't look bad, it has a lot of nodes for her growth so it's not slow veg but it's not a wide plant.
Just not sure how the buds will develop or how she flowers. DNA seems to have issues at germination, strange growths but gets past that.

These strains will blow any of the above mentioned ones away in SOG, they grow massive top colas if they are not topped. Potency is fantastic, so is bag appeal.

From my simple math, it looks like you are pulling like 700+ grams under a 600 hps from those 60 clones? That is serious yield man! But hey with LUI having that Sweet Tooth Bx2 father I am not really all that suprised because that's a chunk monster maker.

I've been reading a lot about LUI and it was already high up on the list. After seeing those pics and reading a couple journals I'm deciding between Purple Wreck and LUI...maybe both?!

I know you definitely can SOG any strain, but some are easier to work with than others.
I'm running some Matanuska Thunderfuck and Sour Diesel (both very Sativa) in a SOG and I'm expecting good results. Only downside is the 10 week flowering time This will be my first time blooming strong sativas though and I'm anxious for the day I can smoke some and finally enjoy a good sativa high.
On that note, where did you find that picture? I'd like to read some of his grow logs so I can compare what I'm doing with what he's doing

I just rubbed my nose on the Purple Wreck and she WREAKS Of Grape Kool Aid! Totally bringing a smile to my face, she was a real stinker before that and oddly she is just now mellowing out into a very strong and perfectly clear Grape Kook Aid smell (just without that dry powder up in your nose).
Totally amazing and I want to go smell her some more, she should go into flower here Saturday....can't wait to see some buds, hope she gets purple. Going to put a clone of her outside too, I hope all of my girls clones do root but I've only found 4 popping out roots.
