the extra percolation won't take away from the oil's potency but it will take away some of the flavor.

Hey HMK it`s made by c6 in texas got made in a beach theme...tried a friend`s KutVape here in Denmark one of the 2 you send here and it were love at first sight hehe and didnt know how to get one and then i had the chance to get a similar one

Just got mine a few days ago. Couldn't be happier with mine. I'm stoked I got an HMK instead of a vapor curve, for a few reasons, but mostly customer service and quality.
I got mine color matched for a piece of mine, and HMK made it past my expectations, it even ended up matching two of my bongs color wise. I smoked it 90% of the time these last few days. Great flavor, and uses so little oil. I feel like I wasted it before topping bowls with my oil, so much burns off when passing or in between hits.
Once again I can't say how happy I am with mine, and will post a pic for you guys soon, just had to say something soon since I was so pleased with it.

its flattering, good for my own business, and no one quite gets it right, so i can feel smug that our original design is still a better functioning model than the rest. sometimes its almost irritating, but i try not to let it get to me. it would have been nicer if more of them asked first, but whatever, go ahead and bite you biters, if thats what it takes to earn a living. i know there is a demand my sister didnt fill so it kind of prompted the copycats, but i am making them now too, so thats funkengruven. kinda fun too.

the unit have been getting even more sweeet
it is true though nothing hits or looks like a kut... and i havent seen anyones wraps look as good either.

Well, HMK bubs most definitely are the shit compared to hotknifing or bowl dropping BHO.
That I can agree with.
But....as a high standard, hardass, demanding, experienced customer, oil user, and friend of many a glassblower, it is absolutely essential to expound on these opinions, because it would be wrong to my ICMAG peeps not to. So without further adieu...

For the benefit of all those oil users out there searching for oilbubs.
MK/His Sister's pipes are some of the sloppiest out there.
This thread is a testament in showing that a lot of people are in it for the name-branding/collectorism of it.
It's also a testament to supply/demand & limited oilbub market outlets
I feel bad for people who think HMK pipes are some of kind golden rocketship,
they're actually some of the worst oilbubs out there, if you take a look around @ others.
The problem is that it's hard to find oilbubs because a lot are underground.
My problem is that his bubs are sloppy as heck & they're sold as 'the best' even tho they aren't.
They're mainly 'the best' people HMK was the first to make one. Which is stupid, to me.
Take a look at his hooks, they're like sausage links, he doesn't take the time to perfect them
Some artists take more time and make their hooks out of more than 1 glass piece.
HMK just uses 1 and it comes out sloppy.
His bubs are sloppily made too, just speaking generally
And personally I think there's better art on the market, too.
I know, I know, I'll now be labeled a 'hater' but whatever, it's nothing to do with taking down anyone
To me this post is about consumer rating & someone's view of the oilbub market
It's about a customer base that is kept from the majority of the oilbub world,
causing that base to have a distorted perception of what is actually good or bad.
I feel it's important to voice this for the sake of all these people drooling over these bubs
Because IMO they're getting swindled, and I can't stand to see people get swindled, so let me explain..
The phenomenon we see in this thread is just like RooRs, phx, etc
Name-Game overpriced marketing & collectorism to justify sloppy work.
What drives the demand for HMK pieces are general lack of availability of oilbubs and name-branding hype
If someone is happy with their pipe, that's all that matters, don't get me wrong.
And everyone deserves credit for an invention, of course.
At the same time, we have to look out for the pipe customer's best interest.
A lot of people don't realize the oilbub market is bigger than they think
And they are pigeon-holing themselves on HMK bubs as if they are the holy grail of oilbubs
When in reality, they're some of the sloppiest oilbubs out there.
The problem is, it's hard to find an artist who makes these well
So, HMK gets the benefit in the short term
(even though he's greatly losing his share in the high quality oilbub market as each day goes by)
Why is he losing market share?
What was quality when oilbubs first came out is not what high quality is now.

When people like Chief ask him about copies, it boosts his ego.
If it didn't, HMK wouldn't make such a horrendously big deal about it all.
If it didn't, HMK wouldn't brag about his work so much.
If it didn't, he wouldn't be posting videos angrily flipping off dome users and smashing domes with rocks
It's one thing to make crappy pipes and sell them as golden, almost everyone does that
It's another to have an ego about it, to make it all a competition, to lack humility
Most people after reading his posts for quite some time can see this
