Hey, it's ok. I just wanted to get into that head of yours to see what was going on in there.Sorry that the subject is too obtuse for you to follow.
I'm unsubscribing from this thread. Those that are curious will actually do some research and, most likely, end up not giving out more than # of people in household.
If you'd rather keep your head in the sand. It's your choice. I prefer to remain informed instead of ignorant.

No hard feelings, I'm pretty confident the census form & its info are the least of my worries..

I can understand your perspective although I still disagree.Myself, I prefer not to cooperate with the government in any way, just as I prefer not to speak with police.
My government does not represent me.
On the contrary, they are trying to imprison me because I am not in a "medical" state.
Some of you have forgotten that for some of us, this is still a war, one that has casualties.
Hence my suspicion towards anything governmental.
After all, they have lied to us before....
But for your sake you may want to comply, war's about blending in most of the time as you prob know.

I will gladly contract with necessary govt services. I don't consider tyranny or the instrument of tyranny to be a necessary govt service. The continued misuse/abuse of census data can only be stopped by removing the data that's misused/abused.

What was that about the negative reaction to a truth being equal to the depth the original lie was believed? People don't really care what the truth IS... they just get all bent because they believed something that wasn't true. People were pissed that the world was NOT flat.... not that it was round. They'd been indoctrinated into believing it was flat.... finding out the truth (even though they couldn't have known) is perceived as an embarrassment.

I applied for the census "door-to-door" job, where you knock on people's door and threaten them ! lol sayy GIVE ME YOUR SURVEY OR ELSE!!! lol they seriously pay btwn 15.95/hr - 17.95/hr it's a hooked up temp job, if anyone's looking for work i can get you a phone number or something.

Wow if so many seem so paranoid over something that happens every decade I wouldnt doubt a little study would conclude with a convenient little syndrome with a cool name.Nobody tries to keep under Fed. radar the way I do I havent filed in at least 7 or 8 years but have been caring for my mom since my dad died.Nothing illegal you dont have to file if you have no income being supported by my mom(yea thats a gooood one lol).If you have a lot of capital gains or intetest income you have to file,but if its not a bit you dont even have to file.
better to do what they ask of you, just in case then.

I don't take this census deal as seriously as it seems some are trying to make this out to be. It is yet another b.s. form that is wanted from us and followed by the usual " if you don't fall in line we will come to your house" b.s.
Fill it out if you want (not directed to anyone) or don't if you choose not too. I think too many people are focused on what others do versus thinking about what they do based on their own opinion.
Now to the person who is getting like $16+ an hour or whatever that was per hour walking door to door to the doors of those who do not turn them in, what all happens from that? Also why the hell does a job that is about counting our people need to pay so damn much? You wonder why our government sucks so bad, private business door to door jobs sure as hell do not pay $16 an hour around here UNLESS it is a government/city job.
I liked my census form so much I filled out 2 of them!

I'm no fan of our monetary system but I'd hate to see our public education system, no matter how poor it is in places go away. The families that couldn't afford private elementary education wouldn't send their kids to school. I'm sure many would be home schooled and many would learn the street as well. Heath care reform is simple economics. We can't sustain the status quot and fought tooth and nail for watered down reform. The only result is to mandate coverage. One of these days we'll go single payer, if the economy ever recovers enough.

anyone who thinks the department of education is in any way worth it, just needs to read the book called "the deliberate dumbing down of America" by a lady who worked at the top of the department of so called education called Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt. there is a 40 page version online as well as one which includes all the documentation which is several thousand pages long as far as i recall.
State Education is paramount IMO. All this money that Washington squanders could be reserved for the States to exercise their power to teach their kids. I think the reason why we lag behind other countries is because our public education system is becoming more and more federalized. I wouldn't want Congress educating my kids. All they know and care about is Washington. Where they and their kids live every day.
A sound public education is #1 priority in a social society once you get past security IMO. I believe the states have the power apparatus to resolve much of this if they could only have some of the money being sucked in by the black federal hole.

If not, Google it and tell me how great it is when states decide what to teach kids...
some of you guys must live in really dumb states. the north eastern states' education systems are very good.
