Hey cTHC, thanks bro... I like the way that your lot are developing, as I am growing from seed next run (looking for a stellar mother) It's interesting to see how you have managed to fill the space using the plant count you have, plus not having to veg for ever :D (no offense scroggers, lol).

Will be something to remember once I start my beans, which should be shortly. Also really like they way you have the drippers set up (props 2 pico!) I usually have water running through the part you guys have the end stop @ on the filter. Need to have a look at pico's thread to see what's going on there. Also I use flexi- piping will have to look at the rigid stuff. Did you have to seal those holes up with silicone?

Thanks dude, I wasn't planning on 16 plants, the idea was to have 36 plants, but I worked with what I had and its turned out pretty good so far.

Definitely look into his dripper manifold, I couldn't imagine using flexible tubing to make a drip.

To seal up the dripper manifold with the elbows and T connector I used primer and PVC cement. A little tip for anyone building this also, drill your dripper line holes before you glue the pieces together so that you can get any of the shavings from the PVC out of the manifold. This is what I'm going to do on the next manifold. I didn't have any problems with a clogged dripper but it just makes sense to do it this way.

MarquisBlack: no problem, should have said that in the beginning.

Thanks, ask away.

I've got 1/4" lines.

Yeah I searched everywhere online for the cheapest price for those. The cheapest online places that I was about to order from ended up having shipping that cost as much as the grommets would, it was ridiculous. The best price I found though was at horticulturesource online, go do a search for it. Thanks again.

thank you. damn those ladies sure would appreciate a trellis soon.

Update: I might end up making Pico's trellis manifold and stringing up individual lines to hold up rows of cola's. Not sure how easy that would be but should be interesting. I had to lower my table because light was too close to some of the tops in the middle of the table, and the cola's were lagging behind compared to the cola's that weren't directly under the light. Should be good now though.

3/18: 35 days flower w/ 40 days to go

This picture is of one of the plants that didn't get any LST:

Yeah they're going to be falling over soon.

and the swelling begins.....

Thats what they be doin'.

Looking good bro. I have the same exact set up with the drippers. I mean just like it. Looks like you'll have an amazing yield. Trellis would be good, or a few stakes with twistie ties old school style..Anyways, have a good one brother>>>>

awesome setup. You 're doing better in those little pots, than I do in 3 gallon pots. Think I need to automate.

Update: Everything is looking pretty good, have some tip burn. Getting real close to start lowering nutes. I prefer to gradually lower nutes around 3 weeks out, that way I'll have a nice fade. I've also reduced watering frequency to one time a day.

Appreciate it, I'll have to check your system out. Well no trellis becuase that'd be too hard to put on now, and couldn't use stakes because they have no where to go, roots have taken up the entire pot. I'm pretty sure Pico's Trellis Manifold would hold them up fine even without any strings. I guess I'll see here soon. Thanks, take it easy dude.

Thanks I appreciate the props. Automation is great, used to hand water several grows ago, glad thats over with.

Looking great THC! :)

The buds look well developed and frosty, nice structure for their age. Let the swelling commence :D

Are you allowing your coco to dry out a bit between waterings now?

Update: They're coming along pretty good. Although I've been using tap water this whole run and having to add more PH down than I would like to keep PH in the right range. I've been having to add so much PH down that it makes my EC go up quite a bit, this also has caused some lockout in a couple of plants from too high of phosphorous, they're back to normal now though and are growing new calyxes. That does mean its time to go back to a 50/50 mix between reverse osmosis water and tap water, which will clear the problem right up. As a result of this, I've been topping my reservoir up with plain tap water, so the plants are fading earlier than is preferable.

Here's the red fade coming out in the Diesel:

Lookin' mighty fine in there. Looks like they're filling that space nicely with skyscrapers of bud. :canabis:

Thanks for stoppin by icough, lol, yeah they're doing pretty good.

Thank you kind sir, since I've been using coco for the past several years I've found that I prefer letting the pots dry out a bit. That probably contributed to the tip burn, but I believe the plant grows better when the medium dries out a bit between waterings, as long as they don't get too dry for too long which could cause nutrient lockout from salt buildup, I have yet to see that though. On top of that I also am trying to keep gnat populations to a minimum. When I water more often the gnat populations go up.

Thanks, good luck with coco, I'm sure you'll like it.

Thanks dude, yeah it would have been interesting with 20 more plants. Would have had to go into flower right after they rooted. I'm probably going to give it a try soon though.

Yeah I'm lucky to have gotten her, shes definitely finicky, needs more nutes than most. She is sensitive to too much light, takes longer to clone and sometimes difficult to clone. She can yield a good amount but at the same time I've seen healthy original diesel plants that have a small yield.

Sorry if I missed it, but what size pots are you growing in?

.75 gal 6.25" botanicare pots.

Update: Alright I've got under 2 weeks left and I'm going to start chopping on day 10 since the plants in the corners of the table are looking done. I chopped some nugs a few days ago to give me some new fresh bud for 4/20. Took a little sample the other night and damn I forgot how potent fresh bud is. Its been like 8 months since my last harvest and its real nice to have some new fresh nugs to puff on. It'll be nice to have some Diesel thats been pulled early since the stuff is really pretty potent. I've been gradually lowering nutes by lowering GH Micro.

Decided to not build pico's PVC trellis manifold, because they're pretty sturdy as is, along with also finally attaching the ducting for my active exhaust. Which as you can see from the pictures holds up some lanky side branches with the negative pressure (negative pressure not shown in picture since tarp zip up was open for pics). Never really described how that worked so heres some more info. I have an active intake and active exhaust with a Hepa filter on the intake. Now theres negative pressure within the room from adding my exhaust ducting. I had to wait to add that ducting because I wouldn't have been able to fit another 4x4 table through the door. Adding that ducting sure helped with controlling temps since temps outside have been going up.

The new 4x4 table has 21 plants on it right now and about to add another 4 more. Most of them are GDP and a couple other strains that won't stretch too much. Theres 12 plants that have been in flower for 8 days and 9 plants that have been in flower for 5 days. The staggered harvest will be nice. I veg'd these until they hit 10" then they went into the flower room.

I'm going to be taking cuttings today to put in my aerocloner which should take about 8-12 days to have a sufficient enough root structure (hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by saying that). Then I'll veg those for a week or so to put back on the 4x4 table.

I'm going to add my other 1k Magnum XXXL in that room pretty soon. So I'll have a total of 3k for a 4x8 area. Which is a lot of light 93.75 watts sq/ft, I'd almost like to put my 600 in there instead but we'll see how it works out.

I have a 1 ton portable AC that will help keep things cool in the summer. My 70L dehumidifier will be here today, just to ensure I don't ever go too high on humidity. It could be used a little bit at the moment but humidity doesn't get very high often but its a good investment.

Temp day: 70-72
Temp night: 50-60
Humidity: 40-80%

4/15: 63 days flower w/ 12 days to go

I took one plant that is on the side of the table out for pictures, which is a bit smaller than some of the plants but is one of the better looking plants.

Very nice bro, colors are looking great... The buds look real tasty too.

This original diesel looks alot like a cut of soma's NYCD I used to grow a while back. I know soma's NYCD was created from seed he's mate found in some bud, ie- from a hermie :D but not the ESCD I;m thinking it's probably from this one you have...

Does this cut you grow have a grapefruit dank aroma?

Great grow CTHC, they look fantastic. How do you like the magnum xxxl? I'm thinking about picking some up to replace my YM-II's for the summer heat. I've been watching my temps start to rise a bit also.
