BHO with hash ? is it possible ?

the question is, do some of you have made BHO with hash, and would you happen to have some tips and how to do it, and picts ?

Reason is i'm in nepal and alcool is pretty hard to get, but i should find some butane...

Finding alcohol in nepal could be a problem I would imagine, keep the hash man.

Ive made oil using kief, and bubble.....But this was before any of it was pressed into a slab.....and was still in powder form and it made some killer oil.

Im not sure how good it would work using an already pressed slab though.........You mite have better luck heating the hash up a bit and than crumbling it into powder,than do your wash if your able to find some descent pure alcohol.

But ya, beautiful f'n hash man!! Id hit that.

Yes it would work.

You can use any non-polar solvent.
Naptha
Butane
Isopropyl alcohol
Ethanol
d-limonene
Acetone

Dissolve the hash into the solvent (heated solvent works faster but BE CAREFUL) filter through a coffee filter if needed and then evap.

Yes you can titoon.

You need to get the hash into small rough pieces and add some ganja if you can find to act as a filler.

I once had a mate who made oil from Kashmiri hash while he was in India, he used locally bought petroleum Ether (Naphta). Not sure whether you can find butane that's pure enough to make good bho in Nep.

But it is definitely possible

Enjoy your stay there ; also spring is the best time of the year for roaming around in the mountains, plus the hash you'll find will be 5 or 6 months cured, which is a gooood thing.

It is easy with hexane. I just grind it up and place it a fruit jar with the hexane, shake it now and then for the next 12 hours or so. I keep in a relatively cool place (<60F) and out of the sun.

I then filter it through a metal filter and a couple of coffee filters before evaporating off the hexane.

You could do the same thing in less time and probably could with butane if you used a chilled container, chilled the butane, and kept it in the freezer.

Somewhere there is a thread running around about how to do BHO in a stainless thermos, which might be your ticket and worth tracking down.

I personally would rather have oil than hash because you cant smoke hash off a Ti plate or dome and nail setup. you either have to smoke the hash off a scree (dont work all that great) or on bud. Really the Ti is the best way and you most be in oil form to do it. blast away brother

Yah I would like to do this with like 7 grams of some superblond that I am getting just because I want some variety. I know it has been done before im guessing dry/grind as much as possible. Then proceed like other methods but other methods have bud/trim so inherintly different back in the day I just heard of oil being made with butane being ran over it into a pan through a stanless steel turkey baster.. But I would like some newer possibly easier idea into getting this hash into hash oil.

i used to be the biggest oil hater in my area, when all there was was greenish ISO. now, ..look at me now

Only smoke hash with a screen or on bud.....Ya ever hear of hot knives or bottle tokes, or joints.......I smoke hash the same way I smoke my oil.

Oil and hash is what I pretty much grew up on, wasn't really any bud around........Which was great.

But I like both the same, smoke both the same.

i ll see which solvent i can get easily, maybe will try some hospital to check if they have alcool...

hexane sounds good, but i wouldn t know where to find it here.

Ti pad sounds cool, although i don t have one..too bad. and seems expensive, especially if i have to buy all the glassware for that. maybe one day i ll get one, but wont probably be in nepal anymore...

also 70% yield i m really not sure, yield should be more around 15% from what i gathered, with pure alcool at least... what would you say ?

For the hash, i smoke it with a bubbler (bought here), and a wood pipe, pure or with a little tobacco. and sometimes joints...

i ll let you know about the oil, of course

tomorrow i m free it is saturday, so i ll go solvent hunting !

btw alcool is not banned at all in nepal...

I get a 15% return on iso normally when using bud, so I would expect hash to have a much higher return as long as it is good quality with little filler, like small pieces of plant material ground up. But yours should provide a good return in oil yeild. Good luck.

Denatured alcohol can also work as well, maybe try a pharmacy if they have something like that, anywhere with firstaid supplies should hvae iso alcohol. 91% or higher is best, but 70% works almost as well, just longer to evap.
