Bangi Haze

Bangi Haze is definitively my favorite smoke of 2009.
I don't care much about the smell, as I love the fruity and sweet, but the high is spot on. Active, social, intellectually stimulating.
And powerful. The plant I hang under a tree for 7 days gotta be the most powerful of the whole lot.

I did. But only clones and mothers, all from a single seed. I harvested over the first week of October, starting on 30th Sept. I also took some in the last week of October from a different spot and they were already dead and dry in the ground.
I can't find any notes, but I remember the clones flowered, revegged and finally started flowering again very early, some time in July for sure. The single seedplant I had flowered much later and was one of the last to show sex. It was a male.
I also had some Bangi Haze x Purpurea Ticinensis in a dark spot that I harvested in the same timeframe.
The first of my Bangi Haze x Guerrilla Gold were taken on 26th Sept and the last on 11th Oct.

From the 4 BHGGs I had, 1 kept the BH high. The other ones I've smoked only once or twice and didn't like them. As far as I remember a bit heavy and stupefying.
From the 3 BHPTs one went straight to bubble hash and the hash kept the clear head and conversation stimulating quality while adding body relaxation. About the other ones I can't say anything as I haven't yet come round to testing them.

OK...well, it's been about 12 days and I thought I'd show y'all where the Bangi Haze is heading.

She's about a month into 12/12. Growing in a 2X3 room with three other plants under 400 watts (and 8 CFLs). 21/2 gallon Hempy buckets...

The flowers are smaller than on my other three plants (two mental floss and a LA Woman). But they are very different plants. I figure that the Bangi Haze will start packing it on as we slide into the fifth week and sixth weeks. But she is amazing. So far, smells very hashy.

Great job mayan :)

Her structure is very interesting for indoor growing and yield looks promising! Best wishes!

Awww-thanks so much, dubi! You must get some degree of satisfaction seeing Ace Genetics come to fruition.

One strange thing I noticed is that a couple of bottom fan leaves have fallen off by themselves. They were green. (Oh and btw...the plant is entirely green...my photo settings skewed the color particularly in the middle photo-green green green). I'm not freaked out by it - I seem to remember reading that Sats have a tendency to lose leaves but if I should be worried, someone, please speak up.

I also think that I'm going to stake it up. Her branches are all over the place and they are only going to get heavier. Also, there are three other plants tucked into the little 2X3 space so the possibility of accident is high. Particularly if I'm high.
Pax!

Quick Shots

Quick Shots

Well...she's coming along...here's two quick shots of the Bangi Haze in her native habitat, so to speak...She's currently about 40 days into 12/12. This particular plant (the only Bangi Haze I'm growing currently) has not been particularly quick in packing on bulk. Still, she has flower sites extending the length of every branch. I'm thinking that she will slowly and steadily keep thickening -either that or this plant may just not be a big producer- we'll see - whatever, she's beautiful and quite impressive and I can't wait to-um- KNOW her -as they like to say in the Bible.

Here's a picture of her in her allotted quadrant in the cabinet...She is a sea of green unto herself!

This is one of her lower buds - these types of buds are EVERYWHERE on this plant. Sorta popcornish at this point but they appear to be thickening in a stately fashion and bulking up some. It's a sativa so still plenty of time. Fascinating plant - great ride! I hope to have more pictures of the full plant once I pull them out of the cabinet for a stroll.

Nice grow Mayan, I have one going at the moment as well... Round two with this female.
I really like the high, it's clear and a bit soaring but I notice a real nice warmth to the buzz as well... not quite an indica type warmth but a nice warmth none the less. A real bell ringer in my estimation !!

Hi all,

I ordered Bangi Haze seeds on BioGreenWave yesterday. I'm planning to grow them outdoor at 50° Latitude North (Belgium), but I have a question though.

My parents are ok if I plant them in the family garden. I have about 3 meters between the border and a raspberry-bush, and 1 meter wide. What distance the plants need to be separated of if I want to give them all the space they need ?

Thanks for answers,

Benoit

It depends on when you will plant them, so how big they will get. Maybe 3 females or 5 unsexed plants if you have to remove males.
If you want big plants, maybe just two females or even one.

Just some thoughts for you

Peace
