Vortex 3 speed fan, Some badass Air pump I picked up at PetCo. that allowed me to hook all 4 air hoses to 1 pump. Can also ajust the speed on the pump which was pretty cool.

Portable AC unit was putting off to much heat and if I put the block off piece in the back it blew hot air out the front, only other option was vent into the attic. Bought the 6in cut out that connects to a drill from home depot, pretty simple.

Before doing this my temps were around 88, now they stay at 76...

Before Installing Eclise Curtains...

Purchased 2 of these eclise curtains at walmart, 20.00 each, blocks out 99% of light but still allows enough air flow in to vent the closet. Also lined the walls with velcro and the middle to help it stay tightly shut and stapled the top...

Very nice setup, do you use that one light from start to finish or did you start them under fluoros? seems like alot of light for such small plants lol

Thanks alot, been looking at everyone elses setups for the past 6 months, did the proper research and finally got everything going. Checked on them before work and they were looking alot better, ill post some pics later.

Yea i use it the whole time, they were under T5s untill I transplanted them, the 1000w is far enough away that its fine, plus the ac unit being right there, plant temps stay at w/e I want them to. Right now around 76.

Welcome to Icmag, I see you are not playing around and went with the 1000watter for the first time LOL. It takes some veterans years before they use the 1000watter. Anyways, it's looking good besides the little burn that you have. What are you feeding those girls?

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Yea they got a little nutrient burn i think but look alot better today then 2 days ago, they are gettin the general hydroponic flora lineup but going to the hydro store this weeknend, going to give them the house and garden lineup, seen it on the same plant and works great.

Nice and clean set up.

One thing I'd check would be the air going into the attic. Find out if the extra humid air wont screw up the air exchange up there. You don't want end up with moldy/rotted rafters.

If you're not worried about flir from helicopters I'd maybe hook up the air conditioner to a roof vent/whirlybird.

Thanks for the advice just got done reading your journal, badass i must say. But its a pretty big attic, never thought to keep venting threw the attic outside though. might have to give that a thought.

not a bad set up. but ac in a small area like that can become a pain i had one but it did the same as you gave more heat then cool air so i just added more intake fresh air and a bigger vent and exhaust fan to pull out more air with a few fans works wonders. good luck on this grow.

Yea it was a pain till i vented out the hot air from the ac unit, the thing blast out cold air now and shuts off at desired temp and then kicks back on when temps go above. 1000w's put off a hell of alot more heat then I figured.

tell me about it my 1000w kept my room temp above 90 and now i run mid 70s and upgraded to 1600w and am loving it.

Keep up the good work.

The light seems a bit far away and your plants will stretch over time.
Consider adjusting the light closer to the plants (using Yo Yo's) and keep adjusting it depending on the plants growth.

Oh and one more thing since your set-up seems to be within your living space: Don't tell anyone! Lose lips sink ships.

:)

I had them on Yo Yos but thought the 1000w was to low, but now with the ac unit im thinkin i might go back to them. Once the plants get bout 3 feet they they will be to close so ill go back to this way.

Yes sir! room mates and the girlfriends all that knows. You can hardly hear anything coming from the closet. Sounds like a fan.
