Hey vintner, you're right. I was just thinking the same. The next three weeks ought to show size and the last two should help tighten things up. This strain makes almost rock hard nugs at the bottom of a SOG so this ought to be interesting
Here it is after 28 days. Looks like stretch is over for the most part but some of the shorter tips look like they're trying to play ketchup.
and below....I hope it throws buds in proportion to the stems, the main one is almost 1" diameter at the base.
I'm still fickle on veg lights, lol. Either way I go it looks like close to $100 or more for PL-L or T-5 tubes. For now I just added Y adapters and extra bulbs. I've got >9500 lumens in veg and that's plenty for a small cab. It didn't sacrifice any additional headroom. When the economy gets a little better, I'll splurge for optimum space which might end up being a larger grow area. These little CFLs might get in the way but they're hard to beat for cost and operating efficiency.
The pic on the right shows leds in the PC cab. I paid $25 each for these jewels 4 years ago and got ripped off, lol. I remember them generating somewhat elongated nodes and not much more,
. They certainly don't grow ANYTHING fast, will be a good thing as these are on the back burner for now.
The little Merlin's just passed 10 days and some are already showing the third node. I might start looking like Steven King in "CREEPSHOW."

5 weeks 12/12. I'm starting to notice some bulk but nothing stellar. I see other scrogs with colas that rival sogs but I'm not so sure about this one. The screen is full but only part of it has stretched fully, with medium stretchers filling the gaps. Roughly 90 tops.
The Merlin's Magic babies are greening up just fine. I started LST on the tallest two. I'll get the rest after they get 3" tall. The first week saw fast growth but they've settled down a bit since.

i cant wait to see how the final yeild turns out on that scrog. should keep you well suppiled. Im now enjoying the larger flower side of the cab to veg my big girls before they go into the tent. Love seeing what you do with that cab, keep it up man. hope you had a good weekend. stay safe!
