plantys outdoor 2010

You guys seem to have your shit figured out.

I really have to decide what the fuck I am going to do with the soil in my 200's. I am sending out soil samples tomorrow. I am going to do 2 from black box containers, and two from full season plants (a big yielder and a small yielder)... i am also going to send in a sample of a 2:3 mix of fresh Roots 707 and Roots Organics to establish a baseline of what the soil mix I used last year tests out of the bag. I guess I will take it from there.

A friend of mine mentioned a product called "Sunrise Mix" that is specifically formulated to replenish that which the ganj taketh away. I have not been able to find it on the interwebs.

Good luck filling the 40.

Hardly figured out bro - just doing it ya feel me? I'm lucky that last year I fucked up and cut some trenches I didn't end up filling that I'm going to back fill and do these planters how I should have from the beginning.

This year I'm going to be ready with a hoop house that has supplemental light, supplemental in the yard like christmas lights,
and more water...

I've got some snow on the ground... We'll just have to see how things go this month. I may end up moving my garden to another area on my property...but I really hope that isn't needed. I feel like the weather is going to turn around but we just need this water so bad that it's gotta come before the summer lands...which is going to be a long one..el nino and all..

Got my OGs yesterday.

Just checked the weather and it seems like it's supposed to clear up around the 7th for me! Woot!

Hovah - I just am very intensely in to my project and care a lot about it. This is my job.. Bringing a needed medicine to the people. I want to do it with the highest standard, attention to detail, and over all most love I can throw its way. I don't want to build my garden on opinion.. I want to build it on facts and experience. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you understand me better.

Whats up brotha

Nice heads up on the burn from Toms mix. I was gonna run with that in 200 gal pots. Trying to figure out what mix to go with is killing me. I'm getting overwhelmed by reading about screening aged pine bark fines, biochar, soil porosity..

Don't make it too hard on yourself. Get a consistent base mix and add a little bit of everything to give you what you need for the whole season.

Yeah I feel ya. All this reading up on soils is good knowledge, but it's better to KISS. nice with your ogs, I just got some fire og clones last week too. looks like im gonna lose the JC's(sfvogxmaster). for some fucked up reason they went into flower before i changed the lights to 12/12. I was thinking it was just a nasty case of preflowers. all the clones i took are happily flowering under 20 hours light. Ohwell. good to know that now then to have them outside thinking my little 7 watt sup lighting would keep em flower free.

good luck with your water situation.

Thanks bro..my gardens water situation is just fine.. I wont ever run out..my property basically has one side that is a moat.. the issue is the water falling from the sky getting in my way ...its sunny today and was yesterday..supposed to clear up after the 7th..if I can get good weather till the 21st I can get the stumps pulled , break out the skid steer and slough off the highs and lows and get my smart pots out there...

Thanks so much bro it must be those vibes keeping the rain away please keep sending them I am at the point of desperation...I NEED TO GET WORKING!!!

I will have my hoop house up by the end of the month and my plants out by early april!! Most my cuts are rooting... Can't wait to have my own orchard this year.. I was pissed off last year I dropped the ball

I made some changes to my plan again and when they're done I'll show ya'll and it'll be wild.

P

planty

Don't be bringing the price down exposing those new plans.:)

OK you got me on my own rule!! I guess I'll just show pics once every thing is all done and I'm proud of my yard ...right now it still looks like ' Nam out there..few more days of good weather and the dozer man will come do his thing..

i'm honestly thinking about firing my dudes and just gettin some one who will find a way to make it work instead of find excuses to not work...times going by and i'm not going with it..so yea i guess that just sealed the deal on that tip...

Any one that gets in there while it is too wet will make a big mess regardless of who they are. Then you will have to come back in when it really is dry to clean up all of the two foot deep trenches from their tracks. Is the spot for the GH cleared? If it is, can't you wait on all of the other spots to get done. Supposed to get some rain this week. I also have some equipment work I need to do but my spot is too wet still. I will be waiting at least another week or two. You want a little moisture in the soil but no mud.

P

planty

No I need the work done so I can lay my smart pots out and get em filled and cooking so this shit needs to get done.. I'm thinking about not even pulling the stumps and cutting them off at ground level and just back filling the trenches I dug because THAT they can do since they just need to move a mound of soil in to a hole and the mound is right next to the hole so what the fuck right? its sunny now so im going to call the back hoe man

i respect that planty im on edge aswell........ i hope for no fuckups..... everyone knows, the most critical time now,to get shit together.... mistakes equals lost yield, lost time, lost . im trying to take everything slow, steady and hope fall in line.. i just sun burnt 10, didnt think a spring sun could burn... good thing it wasnt 100... just keep moving, slow and steady.. learn from my mistakes...slow and steady.

Hey just a thought, if the idea is to let your mix rest, why not make a pile of it outside now somewhere out of the way of the land movers. That should buy you some time to get through the weather.

P

then I need to move mixed dirt. Talked to my dudes yesterday. By the end of next week we should be done with the greenhouse and getting the stumps out of the growing area

Was the bone meal also corrected down? I can't imagine putting more than a 50# bag per hole.
