johnny, she's doing great this time. It's amazing what a difference not being poisoned makes, eh? I really want to run the rest of the pack to find more ladies, but I've got the next round or two already laid out. Damned if this isn't some great smoke though... looking forward to the pack of White Panda as well.
I uppotted the Planewreck clone last night, here's a shot of her roots. I think she was ready?
The White Widow clone had some signs of spider mites - and sure enough I found a couple on two leaves - so it got doused with Safer's. She burned all to hell, but I'm not feeling sympathetic. Had to be done. The mites appear gone and she's going into my main veg area tomorrow. As soon as she recovers, she's going into a tent.

I'm fairly sure that bias plays a role here, but I am falling in love with the F99. The pheno that's 5 weeks along has no smell - just a soft warm-sugar note that I find in 'low-odor' phenos in many seedlines. Complete waste in terms of that... but you can't smell her over the internet! All you can do is see her - and she sure looks good. Very C99 to my eyes:
Pheno #1 (yeah, it went into flower 2 weeks after #2... whatcha gonna do? Confuses me too.) is starting to build her pom-poms and will get some pictures taken tomorrow. She smells exactly like what I'm after, a super-sour tropical/citric fruitiness - and lots of it. She definitely has the deep-funk terpene(s) of the mother.
Anyone remember Fruit Stripe gum?

I suppose I should mention that I paired the C99 with the F not just for the flavor combination but for its nice match in effect and flowering time. The F is good anywhere from 55-65 days and it has a very strong, surging mind-wipe sativa effect. The two ought to reinforce one another nicely. We'll know in a few weeks, I suppose... learning is fun!

Thanks, T! Wish she smelled more distinct... but maybe there's something to be said for a frosty, lightning-quick pheno with the terpene profile of RO water.
When I say lightning-quick... she went to flower on 2/03. That makes today's pictures day 36. I think this is the jailbait pheno...

Thanks, cox! I actually had to go edit a couple of posts back where I said she was at day 39... she was only at day 34 in that post. Blew me away a little bit... kinda like finding out the chick you took home last night was actually 16.
Did you ever use any of the pollen from your WD C99 males? That's all that the daddy of this cross was... the slightly more vigorous of the two I got.

I dunno if this one's a keeper just because of the low-odor. I'm hoping it's a sign of things to come - resin production specifically - in the cross! I have 4 more girls... one of which stinks like I want her to and 3 of which are a few weeks behind and haven't shown me their first smells yet. (I have 30 more beans, too!) I also have more of this pollen in the fridge... but I bet it's long-dead by now. (~10 months in a proper jar, but not in the freezer?)
