Master Bubba #3 front right. Let the showdown begin!

I forget exactly what I did to Casey Jones. All I know is I took clones.

Master Bubba #1 was topped at one point and has one main cola with 2 secondary main colas.

Master Bubba #2 was topped at two points and has two main colas with 1 secondary main cola.

Master Bubba #3, the shortest of the bunch, was never topped or cut or nothin.

Strangely the plant 2nd furthest along has begun to purple, but the one that has one week more in bloom hasn't purpled a bit. Casey Jones is coming along much like my first run. She looks like she is putting on mad weight, but those sativas can fool the eye. I have a feeling the shorter Master Bubbas will yield as much as the monster casey jones.

Also, the MB #3, which was the shortest of the 3 and also never topped has grown out much bigger than the older 2 topped versions of itself. It may be best to just let this strain grow straight up in a sog rather than trying to bush em out

Last run I switched to HPS midway through and then back to CMH in the end. This round was CMH all the way through, and I don't notice much difference, if any.

Quick picture update. Just a couple more weeks now. Need to find a better way to take close ups other than sticking a jewelers loupe on the camera lens.

I don't know too much about Master Bubba. I was told to run her 8 weeks flower so that's what I do. Looks like the amber trichomes are showing up right about the time they should. She smells very sweet pungent yummmmmmm. Yield doesn't look like it will be too heavy, but not too light, compared to less than 10 strains I'm familiar with. I'll try to update more when she's done again. It's been a minute since I sampled her.

Also, I should mention the Master Bubba is very forgiving in my garden. Other plants seem to be more fussy. This cut I have lets me make some mistakes without going nuts on me.

Love the CJ! She will be a household name one day for sure. I have 2 in 5 gallon bags vegged under 2k for 45 days supercropped from infancy! Big big girls!

MB #1 chopped and dried. One zip. MB #2 chopped and dried. One and a half zips. CJ still drying. MB #3 to be chopped soon.

The final weigh in brings the CJ to 1 and 3/4 oz... MB#3 weighed in at 1 and 1/4 oz.

All things considered, CJ vegged for the least amount of time, but flowered for the longest (10 weeks) and yielded the most.

The Master Bubbas vegged longer in case #1 and #2, but not so long on MB#3, but they all flowered for shorter times (8 weeks) than the Casey Jones.

I think I'm just an indica junky, but my preference is for the Master Bubba over the Casey Jones. The sativas make me think too much.

interestingly, the master bubbas were infested with pests... but the thrips and the mites didn't want anything to do with casey jones
