Oh man, sorry guys. I've been fucking off in the other sections for while smoking this retarded ass weed

My camera is over at the rents place so I haven't been able to get any shots lately.

I'm going to scrap the parabolic reflector and get a cool tube assembly to run the 1000w MH. I need to really move the heat out of the veg room. What I have won't work.

The cool tube will dump hot air into the bathroom such that it acts as a hot lung room.

I'm going to reverse the flow of air through the drying room such that cool air is pooling in there and then getting passed into the veg room.

IE Turn this fan 180 degrees.


Switching things around like this will fix my problem of where the hot/cold air is getting trapped.

I wanted it trapped in the bathroom because it's the perfect heat capture lung room. Nothing is going on in there.

Once the cool tube is installed and the fan reversed I'll be ready to hook up my mother system with the Power Grower.

I'll get the camera tomorrow and take some pictures.

The G-Bomb Clones have finally recovered from their overdose and look great.

I topped the Hawaiian Snow today and they look really good. I've been hand feeding them till now to learn how to read what they need.

I've started them on once a day feedings now with the timer and rez so it should start to really perk up.

The G-Bomb Table looks f'ing hilarious. Most of the leaves have fallen off, but there are still some nice nuggets. Y'all will get a kick out of this picture. I have no shame.

I really need to get my ass in gear over here. My clones and HS are really starting to come to so I'll have some good updates coming.

I'm ridiculously high right now.

I set it to cure in these jars with the this $20 hydrometer (The Perfect Cure)



The hydrometer let me know that my bud was getting too sticky. It go to 75%. So I knew to take it out and dry it for a bit.

The piece helps take the guess work out for a newb.

I haven't weighed it yet lol. I'm going to do that tomorrow. I really didn't care what it weighed.

I was mesmerized by these massive jars of weed and see no need to sell anything right now. I'm still learning and have accomplished goal #1.

I'll weight them out though tomorrow fo sho. We should know this.

I like the jars and I really like the weed, good manicure. I think I'll get one of those meters. I don't have any problems with mold but I want to keep as much moisture inside for as long as possible, only burping when necessary. I didn't realize you got that much, those jars look pretty big. Based on the pen, I'm guessing half gallon jars and looks like 8 to 10 ounces depending on density. I like to guess, even if I miss a bit.

Even though I can, I rarely weigh harvests (micro, lol). I'm primarily interested in volume as I don't sell. Would be nice to know my average so I'll prolly start weighing again. Looks like you have more than enough to smoke like Johnny and still get a good cure. I'd be interested to know your thoughts after the buds have had a chance to steep. The only difference I've notice with a cure (month tops) is better burn quality and consistency, not necessarily stronger weed. That's why I want the meter to make sure my bud isn't too dry before jarring. Have a nice weekend, Gramps.

Nice call on the meter guys. It's dummy proof and I tend to gravitate towards stuff like that.

The Jars I found on Amazon. They are Anchor Hocking 2 1/2 gallon for $25. They airtight seal with plastic lined inside the lid. Very thick and well built.

I finally weighed what was in the jars. I've gotten rid of one oz. Smoked over the past month or so and still have 506 grams left.

It still needed a little more trimming so I would probably knock 100-150grams off in stems.

Big bowls of weed are cool!

Or were ya still lovin the big-ass jars of weed??? That much weed you gotta make yourself a nice batch of cannabutter.

My bet is you lose very little in the way of stem or other trimming, those jars look finished to me. When you smoke them yourself it seems like a waste to spend extra hours on trimming I just let any shake fall off if it wants to, you've got to have something to make bubble hash with anyway.

Very true about the trimming for yourself lol. The head stash will always be hand manicured. I'm tossing around the idea of machine trimmer, but doubt I'll get one unless I decide to add 2000w more.

I'm starting to toss around the idea more seriously.

I'm halfway finished with my veg room. I finally got my cooltube in. I hooked it up real quick to make sure it would work and test everything out.

This is not how to run ducting


It works great! I just threw it up there with the hooks that were already there. I'm going to clean everything up tomorrow and put the insulation back on to kill the light passing into the bathroom.

I retired the 6in and put my other 8in Vortex blowing in to the drying room.


WOW. That solved that whole problem lol. The neatest thing about switching the air flow and increasing the fans size is the pressure is so good that all the doors close themselves! The bathroom door will be able to stay open once I get the insulation on the cooltube ducting.

Cool little unintended consequence.



I know that seems like a lot of air put there is a lot of heat being generated in the back room and I really want to to be arid and breezy. Plus, I had the fans. This keeps the system constant in the two most important rooms and my dry room is the coolest part and the bathroom is the hottest area. Really worked out nicely.

What is the temp and RH of your drying room? Also is the curing room dark?

The curing room is not pitch black because I have that 6in hole cut, but where the weed sits is quite dark. It's a small amount of light leaking in.

The drying room stays about 1 degree cooler than the flower room. Right now everything is 75F 46% RH.

The only concern I have no is there is A TON of air being dumped into the drying room. The air is blasted from the bottom and pools where the bud hangs. It's pretty windy in one spot. About 4-5mph winds.

Not the greatest drying conditions, but I'll work around it.

I'm may dry in my bathroom and cure in the dry/cure room.

I screwed the fan onto this side of the cool tube because it gave me a smoother ducting run. Three self tapping screws. Changing the bulb is going to be a bit of a pain in the ass, but I can live with. It's BRIGHT. lol

This should give me some really healthy moms to take my clones from and that should help a lot with final yield.
