Here is some Gorilla Grape going into flower today, the seeds were from a breeder called Outlaw Genetics, I have grown it before, it is very tasty and makes nice buds as I will show thru the grow

Nice! I just got a Gorilla Grape cut and Magic Merlin a few weeks ago and can't wait to get clones off them so I can flower out a group!

Yea Gorilla Grape is Urkle x DPD pretty much all of Outlaw Genetics are some clone only elite hit with Double Purple Doja pollen cuz I guess he's got a bad ass F3 or F2 male..

These were rare to begin with. Now, extinct. Outlaw Grower got pinched close to a month ago. To further complicate matters, a reccessive sterility gene was passed on through his F3 generation of DPD. Many females won't take pollen, and many males pollen won't do anything to perfectly fertile females from other strains.

All I can say is I am glad I have his lineup from the past 2 years in seed form. Absolutely killer phenos in each pack, most purple with red trichomes. It's a shame to lose him from the scene. LD

I am glad that not only did I snag these a bit back but also his DPD F2 X Mental Floss
Cannot wait to get them in the ground, the Gorilla Grape was not only delicious but a great stone and good yielder.
Been growing the Gorilla Grape about 6 months now, they are a keeper in the garden

I am sorry to hear that he got popped, he made some really sweet crosses, glad I at least got 2 of them
Know nothing about sterility gene, but then I am not trying to breed with them. also these were out of his F2 stuff

Glad to see some Outlaw gear being grown!! I always like paying close attention to these threads as I have been itching to start my Merlin's but I keep putting it off for some reason or another...

I know his DPD daddy is a stud...plenty to learn for me by watching!

Yea and the Merlin is faster in veg than the Gorilla.. At least my cuts are that way both are Urkle and GDP dom..

Magic Merlin also has much more of an up, Sativa dominant high, even though she finishes alongside GG timewise. For me, MM is better than GG, but most people beg for more GG. LD

Ok here is the Gorilla Grape at the end of 1 week of flowering, she has grown from 8-9 inches tall to all are now 12-13 inches tall
