clone s degradeing?

hey guys n gals wts up?heres the deal just got all ths sht to setup6 1ks all ect.-the prson tht gave me all ths said he would pul 2 and a half oz from each 7 gallon pot-9 under each lamp-am i the only one that thinks ths is horrible?i ve pulled 2 0z off 3 gallons-so my question is for ths dumb ass is it th clones which i think -u know so many generation-how old r mothers wht not-i mean even a sativa w ould yiels more thn2 oz from a 7 gallon pot-whts up yall:laughing:

1.4 lbs per 1000w doesn't sound too bad to me. Putting 9 plants under each 1kW, a three gallon pot for each isn't the limiting factor. Changing that to 7 gal each won't likely bring you any increased yield. Yield is rarely restricted in hydro for too small rooting area and certainly not in your case.

I think YOU need to read up a little more.

I would rather use 5 gallon pots for that if you're using soil and depending how dialed in you are and strain you are using would determine your yield. If you do everything perfect you'll get around 4 oz's a plant and if you mess up you might do around 2.5.

I have to ask how many watts/plants you have handled in the past because if you grow the way you act and type here, then you are headed straight for trouble buddy. If I am running more than 2kw then I want to be on my toes and have my head clear because you never know what is going to happen.

Yield has many, many factors and it is very hard to say without knowing the genetics and your skill as a grower.

PS. I do not think you will get help here if you run your mouth, fucked up, while asking for help. I'm sorry sir, but that is retarded.

Hi all yall to you to bud. I found it a little hard to make out what exactly you are saying. But if I got it right, I like big plants & I grow for maximum yield.
From seed I would veg for around 7 weeks under CLF 500watts all up,color 6400k. Then about 1850w HPS, this is for six plants, At finish they would range from 160gr up to 200gr per plant. I finished up with just under 1.1KG of manicured bud with no pop corn buds.
1 gr per watt is achievable if all elements of grow are perfect & CO2 is added, But as for me I have never used Co2 up to now other than bucket fermentation technique. So I am happy to get .6 of gr per watt for now anyway!.

Hey, it's annoying to have to read and reread a poorly written post -especially when trying to help somebody. Pointing out the difficulty isn't "hating". It's actually a courtesy that says "I care enough about your trouble to ask you to speak more clearly." Or, maybe it's like telling your friend that he's got a booger on his nose instead of looking the other way.

The only difference is that nobody believes its okay to walk around with snot on one's face. However, some folks have no problem doing the equivalent with language. This is such an example. With that said, I was able to understand the original post after a fair amount of effort. It's not like it was written in Chinese.

And... now back to the help session. Carry on. :tiphat:

i can understand that you have some problems with clones but besides that i really cant make out the rest
maybe its because im not a native english speaking person but i never had problems understanding posts in here until i met this one
and ive read thousands in here so far

i totally understand the question, but just don't have an answer. He wants to know if the clones are degrading from the age of the mother plant. He is not impressed with the yields his buddy has been pulling.

NO, if the mother plant is in perfect conditions(READ: PREVENTIVE TREATMENTS), clones only get goodness with years...
There is of course some limit, and this limit has to do with strain and how it was kept, of course... but clones shouldn't degrade...
Another story is I'ver heard that if you make a mother with a clone, and then clone it to make a mother, and then clone that one to make a mother, etc...
DNA/RNA(??) degrades in some way, for sure,after some generations in wich that DNA/RNA was not breeded with a real male/(female??)...
Nature has a time bomb everywhere in case we want to F*** up with it ..... but I have no data on hand to support this; just observation;
Please some more knowledged than me could say something more on the subject??:thank you:

edit: Clones do not degrade, if anything they might get better dependint if you took clones before the plant was fully mature or not
