Grow Clean.... Go Fast!
I just had a laptop that was beyond repair/too old to care, go south on me. It had alot of non backed up data/pictures. I bough a cheap external hard drive enclosure off of amazon for about 12 bucks I think. Found a diagram of my laptop online (on Dells website still) and figured out how to remove the drive. 5 minutes later, I had all the data and a new backup drive! Just so you know, you just have to know what type your harddrive is. Mine was older so it was an IDE. The enclosure I got was a Sabrent 2.5" IDE Hard Drive Enclosure. It was cheap but worked perfect. Hope that helps and hope that the dog is ok. I would be pissed at my own dog for destoying your stuff but would be unthinkably depressed if something happened to em. Have some empathy for him too. I am sure that he will make it right.

Good Luck!

Feel bad for you dude, i would be pissed if a dumb mutt fucked up $4000 of my shit, just for loosing pictures of my kids would of been enough to kill the dog & i dont even have kids! Then again i hate fucking dogs!

mental midgets and loveless drones like yourself love to speak their minds and show their foolishness freely.

I'm sure if it were not a "mutt" but a 4000 dollar pure breed dog, you would not kill it.

thanks for giving more examples of being fucked up in the head, so healthy peeps steer clear.

laterz.

this reminds me of when someone called me a douche for accidentally breaking a special piece of glass.
i said are you joking, do you really think i intended to do that, go fuck yourself!

its not like the guy meant for your computer to be chewed up, cut the [needless] drama is what should be done 1st

Why would anybody have 2 wolf-dogs,a male and a female...? Breeding them? Dogs should be confined when you cannot watch them. That'll be 50 bucks for the advice........:tiphat:

If you broke a special piece of my glass I'd call you a douche too.

There's a difference between a dog breaking/damaging something, and a person doing it. Dogs don't know the value of things, people do. I understand mistakes happen, but I've got over a dozen different pieces of glass, and I've had most of them for 3+ years. It's not hard to not break something, just be careful with it. :dunno:

But on this topic... as I've said before, the dog owner should take full responsibility, and reimburse the OP for all damaged items, be it through cash, or rent credit, or whatever they work out.

momma's boy called mommy to see what he should do; notice that nowhere is "help the dog" to be found btw.

"hello, mommy, bad doggy ate my toys wahhwahhwahhwahhwahh I hope that bad dog dies wahhhwahhwahhwah"

:biglaugh:

Yeah, asking somebody with more life experience than you about a sticky situation makes you a momma's boy. :jerkit:

Actually you're partially correct.

Since when does it take "life experience" to have some compassion?

I realize the OP was probably upset when he wrote those words, but to me, that's when true character shows through...

Who is talking about compassion? Depending on how the dog owner handles the situation, it could end up being small claims or something. All I was talking about was the part about contacting his mother and asking advice. That doesn't make him a momma's boy.

His tirade about killing the dog... plenty of people have said it already, the dog didn't know better, and to think that the dog should die for his actions is retarded. When the dog chews up a person instead of a laptop, then I'll be on board with letting the dog die.

I was, for one.

The idea that the OP had/showed no compassion for the dog speaks volumes about who that person is.

Stuff can be replaced.

Ok, go ahead and talk about compassion, but don't reply to my posts as if I was too.

Stuff can be replaced... but will it be? :dunno:

If the OP needs it and the dog-owner can't replace it, seems he's in a conundrum.

FYI - I used your post to illustrate my own point. You shouldn't need advice from anyone about not wanting to kill a dog, in anger or otherwise.

I agree, calling his mom for advice doesn't make him a momma's boy (necessarily).....He could be for all we know, but not from that one fact.

Isnt he renting out a room et al from the guy that owns the dog and house collectively? dog owners responsibility and is definitely the dog owners dish to drink now, hands down.

Sounds like this is a first occurrence, of extraordinary circumstances, the dog opened the door and how the OP explained the situation, sounds surprised this ordeal could even happen.

mommas boy. HA. really? so he talked to a parent? goina call oedipus complexity on him now? lmao, give the OP a break :tards:

i know your pain, the dog never ate my laptop tho. i was passing football with my nephew and had my jacket with my wallet in it laying on my truck hood. his dog grabbed my jacket and about half mile after following him seen him chewing the shit outta my jacket, with no wallet inside. had about $1200 in it, id, credit cards etc and could never find it. im not a rich fella so i was very upset but there wasnt anything i could do so had to take it as a loss.
