we used about 7 grams of fresh trim from the lower branches, anyhthing that wasnt gettin light and blockin airflow, into 1 stick of butter, the stuff was fresh and had been on day 28 or 29 of flowering, turned out AWESOME!!!

Ok so I am sure this has been asked befor but I didn't read all the pages.

If I make some cannabutter and make some edible snacks to eat will anything show up in a drug test?
IM thinking it would.

Yes, it will show up on a drug test. In my personal experience, I test positive for a few days longer if I have been eating vs smoking. (I bought a bunch of pee test kits off Amazon so I could determine roughly how many days it takes me to get clean. It varies for each person.)

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how much butter I should use.
I have about
3 zips of trim
10 grams of popcorn bud
12 grams of sfv ogk
44 grams of vaporized bud

I was thinking that I would use 2 pounds of butter. Does this sound right?
Edit : So I made the butter last night and used 1 and 1/2 pounds of butter. This morning I used 1/8th of a teaspoon on some toast. and I got very lit.

i have WAY too much bubble hash and was thinking i would use some to make a little budder to experiment with cooking. how much hash should i use per stick of butter?

My ratio is 1.0g of bubble per stick of butter. Start with that and tweak it from there.

You can use as much as you like, but just make sure to start off with a small amount and give it time to kick in then you will know the next time you eat how much is enough for you. Trim works well if you have a decent amount

Thanks Ramius, I did 11 grams of good trimmings to 1 stick of butter! I think I got it! Should I let it cool to room tempature before putting in the fridge?

Looks like you did everything right, has a nice glossy color to it. I always let mine cool slightly before putting it in the fridge but it's not really necessary. You can even stick it in the freezer for a while if your in a hurry

Well I plan on letting it cool for about 6 hours in the fridge now. I just read your post but i did just that. I let it cool for like 20 minutes, now it's in the fridge.

After dinner time my butter will be ready, I am going to make brownies. I coud only find one box that haves you add butter to the mix. It calls for half a stick but it's getting all if the stick I made.

Soooooo after I eat some of this when should I feel the effects? This is my first time making and eating canabis food!

Each person is different and depends on if your eating on an empty stomach or not. Normally takes about 1 hour for me to feel the effects start to come on and then it slowly builds up as time goes on Then just chill back and feel blazed for the next 10 hours hah

OK It's done! Thanks again! So I made 1 stick of butter, when I got it out it only measures to 1/4 cup OR 1/2 a stick. So not all the butter made it....

Going to get baking be back in an hour lol! I gf is gonna be pissed I made brownies and she can't eat them lol!! She'd throw up, not a smoker....
