Thank You they are nice pics. I have nothing to hide BRO! I am 100% legal and believe in my constitutional right as a Colorado Patient. And you must be as well, since you are asking me to prove my quality and prices. If not that's illegal solicitation. Back off with your jealousy.

Also, I hear 9news is looking to put a new face on the CO mmj scene. You should give them a call and express your enthusiasm and willingness to display your constitutional rights...

Wait a sec. Who the hell is charging that much for an eighth??? The only place I know that charges this much is Cannamed. There are dozens and dozens of dispensaries that are charging around $50 for an eighth, so let's find out who it is and NOT shop there, eh?

The MED Shed in north Boulder, on Broadway. Fucking place is ridiculously expensive. I bought an eight of some 8 out of 10 Durban Poison, and they charged me $70 and change!!!! WTF! And I went to another dispensary, and found the same Durban from the same grower, for $55. The MED Shed is just taking advantage of price gouging the rich yuppie Boulderites that pay double for their electric! Fuck that place, no offense to anyone, but seriously, those prices aren't justified. And they keep one of those little packets in their jars to keep the humidity in the jar at 65%! Fuck 65%, I want my weed at like 35%, so it burns smooth and i'm not paying for water! Either way, don't go there.

I just checked out the spot right across the street, Evolution Medicine, really cool spot, little, friendly, fair prices!

Once again, not trying to offend anyone, maybe they know the owner or something, but the prices really aren't fair and "compassionate"! And I'm a grower, I want top dollar for my own product, but I'm also asking for a fair market....

What is it with you guys and lashing out against each other?!?!? Hey, Skunkmiester, posting pics of your face with plants in the background, not a good idea. And then you come on here cursing us out, attacking us on our grow technique, when this thread isn't even directly related to growing and there IS NO on going discussion of our growing abilities. Thats a little unfounded and biased, I would say! Watch out dude, we are all around you everywhere, in YOUR state, and we now know what you look like....Play nice!

So I can't help wondering how many people have their apps in the mail thinking they are legal only to have the app returned half a year later.

if the registry doesnt get back to you within 35 days, you are deemed legal.
you have to have copies of your paperwork and a return receipt or something.
The Medical Marijuana Registry is experiencing a major growth in volume of applications and related requests. As a result of this growth in volume and the constraints of limited resources, we have had to prioritize our efforts in order to maintain basic services within statutorily mandated actions.

Estimated Time frames

All time frames are measured from the date of receipt in the registry.

Rejections

Within three to four weeks

New/renewal cards

Within twelve to fourteen weeks

Changes/Replacements

Within twelve to fourteen weeks

These time frames are estimates and subject to change based on volume.

What do I do until my card arrives?

Colorado Constitution, Article XVIII, Section 14, paragraph 3 (d) states:

Except for patients applying pursuant to subsection (6) of this section, where the state health agency, within thirty-five days of receipt of an application, fails to issue a registry identification card or fails to issue verbal or written notice of denial of such application, the patient’s application for such card will be deemed to have been approved. Receipt shall be deemed to have occurred upon delivery to the state health agency, or deposit in the United States mails.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, no application shall be deemed received prior to June 1, 1999. A patient who is questioned by any state or local law enforcement official about his or her medical use of marijuana shall provide a copy of the application submitted to the state health agency, including the written documentation and proof of the date of mailing or other transmission of the written documentation for delivery to the state health agency, which shall be accorded the same legal effect as a registry card, until such time as the patient receives notice that the application has been denied.

Well I hand delivered my application to the CDPHE yesterday. After waiting in line for an hour they took my application only to tell me that there was another page that would have to be filled out AND notarized! Considering that I had downloaded the forms from the state website less than a month ago I was pretty pissed that there was yet another hoop to jump through just to submit the application. Seems like they just want to keep poeple off the registry, and requiring an additional form to be filled out and notarized without prior notice seems a pretty underhanded way of accomplishing that. They did say to expect a 5 to 6 month wait. So I can't help wondering how many people have their apps in the mail thinking they are legal only to have the app returned half a year later.

I'd highly recommend that anyone applying or renewing their license deliver it in person to the CDPHE. That way you at least get the courtesy of someone handing you your papers back saying that "this isn't sufficient". Granted that place is a madhouse and it will most likely be a huge waste of a day but it will be better than finding out you're not legal when it counts most.

On a funnier note I laughed at the woman handing me my papers back when she suggested that I mail them in. I made a smug reply that I didn't trust them not to change the requirements again before my app was processed.

So which form was it that they said that you would need? Since you mentioned it needed to be notirized, it must have been the registry application form. Give us a little more info on this.

Oh and IF you don't get a rejection letter from them in 35 days after they have gotten you're card you become legal and they will have to send you a card.

do you know what paperwork that you need to have to prove the 35 days?
i thought there were 2-3 things you have to have to use the 35 days thing.

So its a 4-5 month wait now. At this point I have waited so long I dont care if I get my card this week, next week, hell even July. I will admit that I will get a really nice warm fuzzy feeling inside when I have it in my hands.

They handed me another sheet at the CDPHE which appeared to be nothing more than a re-hash of the top sheet that I had downloaded less than a month earlier and already filled out. In fact I just copied all of the information from my original to the "new" one and then drove around looking for a bank to have a notary stamp and sign it. When I tured it in they handed me back my original top sheet which they said wasn't necessary anymore. There was no new information in this new form. Just needless hassle.

This was cut from the states website

also the states web site say that only 24 people/ apps have been denied! That is a rejection rate of ONLY .0012188% or one out of ever 820.45 people that get rejected. These numbers are from the numbers that the state has up on their stats page.

They did change one of the forms here a few months ago when they started wonting them to be noterized.

Now back to you saying that the person at the registry told you that you'd be better of to mail it. The is a good point behind what you where told. If you mail it in and send it registered or certified, you'll get back a green card(the one you filled out at the post office) that shows proof of mailling, this then becomes your temp card, so lets just call it your "green card".

That's a huge misnomer. Thousands have been denied due to BS paperwork problems like not using blue ink, not notarizing, not attaching a photocopy of your caregiver's ID, etc.

Yeah they probably "reject", at triage, almost 10-20% of them, but 99.9% of those come back in again and are approved on the 2nd pass.

The rejection rate of .0012188% is hilarious.

We need CDPHE to get PTSD and depression on the approved list.

along with ALOT of others.

thanks Ganoderma. i thought i heard that you should have the return receipt, copy of drs rec and copy of your notarized application. i keep a copy of everything on me. rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it ;)

Yes you should keep a copy of all of that as proof, just in case. After all that acts as a temp card till you hear from the registry(get your card). IF a cop rolls up on some one and say finds/smells your meds you just picked up. You think he or she will just let you and your meds go just because you say you have sent your papers in with no proof?
