Strongest Lemon Flavored Sativa ?

Hi all, I live near the equator with 12-12 day/dark hours pretty much all year, which limits me to sativas, since I only grow outdoors.

For my small personal garden in the swamp this year, I have become obsessed with the idea of growing a sativa with as strong a lemon flavor as I can possibly get. I just find it such a novelty to have citrus-flavored weed, and of all the citrus tastes, lemon is by far my favourite.

Unable to find a breeder for the Lemon Thai strain that was famous for its flavor a while back, the most strongly lemon flavored sativa I have run accross on the net so far has been Super Lemon Haze from Greenhouse Seeds. Even as I order my Super Lemon Haze beans, I would still appreciate any advice on other strains that are known among outdoor sativa growers for having strong to overpowering lemon taste and flavor. I'd even sacrifice a little potency for an uber-strong lemon taste, if need be.

if you can find the right pheno lemon skunk by green house is defently one youd like

but its ify if youll find a full 14 week sat pheno in there like i did but the taste and high are outta here

Super Lemon Haze is def. a good one and highly recommended.

If you like oranges, try Jilly Bean.....uncanny how much she smells like real oranges...a real citrus bomb.

Wow, I am spoiled for choice. Thanks fellas for the tips listed above. I've got a fair bit of google homework ahead of me fer sure. It is good to see Greenhouse Seeds Super Lemom Haze getting a second honorable mention. Sounds like I made a good choice with that one, and I can't wait till the beans arrive.

Jilly Bean sounds well worth a try too, Goat, with that strong orange flavor you describe for that strain. What I didn't expect, is any strain with the world "diesel" in it to also have a citrus taste, Crowned Sparrow, so I'm adding New Blue Diesel to my must try list.

Jojo420, the name Hawaiian Sativa LEAPT off the screen at me, and a quick search confirms it is from Federation Seeds. This I MUST have for my grow.

Way back when I was a rugrat and dinasaours roamed the earth, anything from Hawaii was the bud from the gods, and I still have fond memories of that distinctive citrus taste and euphoric high that blew my doors off every time. I'm filling out an order for some Hawaiian Sativa beans right now. Yeeeeehaw !

Is Jack's Cleaner anything like Pandora's Box? Pandora has that lemon but daaaaaaaaaamn... I can't find my freaking feet after a few bowls of that.... Granted I only had 3 phenos... one of which was sativa'ish.

I wanted to try Jacks.... Not sure now since I can't handle indica taint very well at all. heh.


My vote is Original Haze or Old Timer Haze or any other loooooong flowering sativa. You're in the perfect environment to grow them... why not take advantage?

Pick a fast flower african sativa as well... for pick me up and general medibles smoke, while those long flower sativas ripen to perfection!
