Pura Vida Organics was not a bad product at all. Just as all things, learn it before you jump in over your head. Metanaturals comes in second in my book for LIQUID og ferts.

Ummm .......... everything Ive read says 1 TABLESPOON molasses to a single gallon of water. Im new to MJ growing but all my habaneros and chillie peppers get watered at that strength and love it.

So 5 tablespoons to a 5 gallon bucket, probably around a 1/4 cup but hes not to far off... certainly closer then a few tablespoons to 50 gallons.

I'm talking about molasses in a EWC tea, not for watering. I add a bunch more molasses just before watering to feed my soil microherd. The small amount at the beginning of the tea brewing process is what I was referring to in my 1st post.

4 tablespoons equals 1/4 cup....

Been using it for decades.

It's manufactured by the City of Milwaukee.

Works on everything from lawns to veggies.

It's a slow release fertilizer, and can't burn roots.

that's so funny, I didn't know it was from Milwaukee!!!

that's the way my family was too, we dug it into our garden soil every spring

talk about recycling!

One of their products is organic, I do not know about the other 2, but Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom are wonderful along with organic soil. My AK48s, strawberry bubba kush and bubblelicious took off once I started using them. Great stuff.

Just finished my first run with House and Garden nutes, gonna give them one more run, then I'm moving on to the roots organic 5ml program. Yields are supposed to be incredible and the finished product is amazing. I'll make a thread when I start my roots run...

My 2 cents...

My 2 cents...

I like to keep the liquid portion of feeding simple since I use a medium very similar to the 3LB formula. Regular watering consists of a tea that is WC + molasses + a tiny bit of bacterial culture (the bact culture isn't a weekly thing).

If I see some sort of deficiency, like N for example I like using the MG organic 8-0-0 liquid made from sugar beat molasses, or some 5-1-1 fish emulsion. If I'm worried about P,K then I use 0-10-10 fish emulsion.

I use cider vinegar and dolomite if I suspect ph is way out of whack. Both of those contain other goodies for plants.

Started using AN Iguana Juice Bloom, used to use Age Old Nutrients bloom. Like the results from the AN IJ better because it has more nitrogen and not packed with phos. Think I'm gonna stick with the Iguana Juice for a base fert even though it's a bit pricey. If I switch, I would just go to mixing my own teas. :joint:

For soil i have tried FFOF, but I found it to be a little hot. So i switched to Pro Mix BX w/myco, and so far the Pro Mix beats the FFOF hands down.:2cents:

I also am a fan of the Iguana.
