dude 100 grand is pocket change considering how much people are bringing in. shit ten of us could throw 10k and get our own island?? LETS DOOOOOO IT.
I think there would be enough gun tooting stoners willing to do security.
So what skills can everybody bring to the Island.
I would run the 24 hour munchies mansion
no need to hire blackwater lol those guys dont smoke. hire me for security i will work for free bud and fermented coconut alcohol...

well the Republic of Minerva is up for grabs still if we can just hire some mercenaries to keep Tonga out. Its being fought out in council now as to ownership so if anybody has the cash for a decent airforce and navy to fight off a few nations with about $1 billion gdp between em thats the cheapest option.
Greece looks like it may be up for grabs pretty soon too. Those people are suffering bad right now.

My boss from my first ever job is from Greece. We have remained friends through the years. About 3 years ago I was visiting home and stopped by his shop to say hi and his daughter was running the place and told me he went to Greece to retire. When I was home this Christmas he was back and told me things are real bad there and he left because he thinks a civil war is coming. This guy has spent every summer there for the past 20 years so it not that he didnt know what he was getting into.

Lately i have been looking at real estate property and you could purchase an island for the amount of a house anywhere from 200k - millions...nice islands can be bought for about 500k US.
now, has anyone ever thought of just purchasing an island and growing marijuana, imagine the possibilities

Well,im definately in for the ideea.
But, i think this should be a more detailed project.
A bank fund account needs to be opened,you need to know what your getting in,also you need to calculate what your going to spend it on etc.
But yeah an official Project Stoner's Paradise would be really cool,i'd definately chip in.
I like working,and im fairly good in carpentery and building houses!

To handle the issue of clean water, we can get one of these:

And since we're pimping that device, maybe Dean Kamen can donate a bunch of solar panels for power and Segways so we can get around (All-terrain tires of course to get around on the sand). Apparently he lives on his own private island with its own Constitution and everything, and it's completely carbon neutral. If we invent something as useless as the Segway maybe we can fund our little IC-island venture!
Couple the Slingshot with all the cannabis we'll be growing for food, fuel, and smoke and we might just have a real possibility here!

I was interested in doing a little island shopping a few years back. Pretty affordable. I saw some really nice ones in Nicaragua in some fresh water lakes. I think that would be the way to go. No Tsunamis. Growing up here in the mountains was sort of like living on an island. Town was an hour away and you had to haul everything in and out. I am not ready to make the plunge but maybe if I ever need a hideaway.

I heard about that . One of their Islands being up for sale. Any where in the Mediterranean would be ideal. imo
