i dont kno if my shi is male
but i have some females
hope a male so i can grow my own strain lol
that be cool to

finally finally finally cut the bottom out. plants look wimpy today but only because i haven't watered in a few days. i'm letting them dry out to hopefully transport. here are some pics i took today. i haven't set up light traps for the bottom yet (probably using cardboard to do it), so i'm holding off on flowering until i can come up with some.

thehappyguy they look pretty healthy. I just wonder if it wouldn't be better to cover your pot container with aluminum foil.
Roots really don't like the light.

All the best with Your grow.

i don't think aluminum foil would be best, but perhaps it would be good to have something...i don't know. i use the toothpick-in-the-soil method to tell when to water and my new containers are lightproofed now...hopefully this will take care of that! i'm just figuring out my light traps and fixing a few light leaks, hopefully ordering (or buying) 2 more fans to stack and then plugging in my carbon scrubber and it's flowering time...probably will be making these containers bigger also

canopy shots of my happy plants

new containers are double black duct tape layered, fully lightproof.

my camera got a picture of something small, i'm quite amazed. there are a few of these on both plans :jump:

hopefully making light traps and carbon filter today...i really want to start flowering. i'm thinking about tying my plants down again since i had to untie them when i transplanted and haven't done it again since they have stayed relatively in the same position except for what would have been the top. i hope i don't need more fans for my carbon filter to be useful...i'll have to just slap it on there and see what happens i guess.

wow! your girls are looking great!!!
good job on covering the pots with duct tape..I was told the very same thing awhile back!!
keep up the good work

my poor girls are having to deal with temps in the 80s until i can get my reinforcement fans here and stack em up...they're being shipped tomorrow, hopefully here before the week's end...forgot to set my timer today or i'd be flowering already!

They're looking great now Happy! Try tent pegs for 'tying' down, the simple little bend at one end kind. Just poke them into the soil with the loop going over whatever branch you want to hold down if you get me. You can move the plants in and out nice and easily that way. One of ScrubNinjas techniques I believe.

what i actually think would be really cool to do would be to use copper wire a la bonsai tree training to LST. it would look very clean, no strings or anything going into the soil...however im not sure how well it would work for small amounts of time, and shit, copper is expensive. i don't plan on replanting them i don't think so i think i'll be ok tying them to the container...but thanks for the tip, next time i'll have to look into something like that!

temps were 98 degrees when i got home today :(

unfortunately, though my two new fans that i ordered came in, i can't put them in my cab yet. i have no 12v adapters with enough amperage that i could cut up and sacrifice :(...so until then, i have to keep the door open with the lights on and the door closed with lights off to keep temps right...it's lightproof and all but i don't want to risk it and temps are fine with the door closed with lights off. i plan on wiring my 2/4 fans to go off at lights off so that i'm not pulling too much air through there. i checked goodwill today and tried to go to the other one (closed) so i'll have to check back tomorrow. :( other than that, they're lookin fine.

is big bloom okay to use every watering?

i stacked those two fans and they did nothing for me, temps are still high as ever. guess i'll keep doing it the way i've been doing it...maybe i don't have a big enough spacer in there, it's probably around 50-70mm thick compared to 2 120mm fans...idk if that was big enough but i dont have any spare fan cases lying around, so i used what i had.
