i used to cut or bite the tip off then remove the outer leaf, but for the past 5 years i ALWAYS have a very very sharp knife on me, and force of habit, i use it alot. but being so sharp, it cuts it nice and stays in one piece. without a sharp knife, its a pain in the ass

i used to have a cheap little cigar cutter to cut the tip off. that thing rocked.
just to know

there are the sports, coronas, panatela, palma, president

what differentiates the models
the palma's are the vanilla(the box has a blue stripe on it) most of the others suck. i forget which is the regular one(corona maybe?)

If you like dutches you can try grenediers as well. I used to roll those after I rolled Dutches and before I rolled Backwoods.

I wish I had more input but you guys have covered most dutch topics lol I just moved back to VA from Cali and yeah I had never seen dutches out in cali, I mean that's when I really got into smokin. But I will say that it was a completely different roll from all the other shitty cigars I had the choice of out near Sacramento! (as in Phillies, Swishers, etc) But I'm glad to see some people do still enjoy the feeling of blunt smoking ;)

its pretty routine to throw 2+ grams in a swisher. i have seen an 8th stuffed into a regular swisher. also, you can combine two swishers to make a B-legit..

im down with dutches though just dont see them tht much. my homies from east coast are all about "white owls" but i never seen those out here.

Yea man, you just lick the blunt unroll it real careful like and then wrap it back up. Natural leaf is the only way to go!

For sweet aromatics and the grape(don't recommend this one at all!) and honeyberry you don't have to lick the leaf. Just unwrap it very carefully. Remember how you unrolled it and roll it up the same way. Anyone that can roll a joint can roll a backwood. To get it nice and tight is an art. You gotta start rolling the lighting end first and get it shaped and then move down the blunt tightening and rolling. Lick the inside once you get it rolled up a little bit and close it up like a nice spliff, licking the outside edge to get a nice seal. Backwoods also have veins and sometimes they can be fat! To make it easier to roll i bite the vein from the inside to the edge. This makes it more pliable and easier to work with. Sometimes you find some that are Holy. In fact they are so Holy that they are unsmokable. Sucks to find them but it happens. When you buy a pack, squeeze it and bend it a little. If the cigars are soft and bend easy then its a good pack. If the pack is hard and won't bend as easy then ask for another pack. I can do a picture tutorial on how to roll a backwood if someone needs.

Back to the Dutches...You have to deleaf a dutch if you want to roll it right. The reason I switched from them is it takes forever and a day to roll one compared to a backwood. I'm also not good at "cracking" blunts so I almost always need a razor or a knife to cut it open. Backwood all you do is unwrap, dump, roll, smoke. :joint:

Not downing Dutches, shit if I could find a single I'd roll one for old times sake. I just prefer a natural leaf that's easier to get off and roll. Keep it danK!

me and my boys will sometimes smoke up to 7 dutches in a sitting... I tried to be all fresh and bring backwoods to the game...bad idea. After about 4 or 5 you get the strongest nicotine buzz ever. my boy that has diabetes had to stop because he was gonna pass out.

If you can't find Dutches then you're probably not looking hard enough. Or maybe it's just where I live at. Here, you can find any of those big brand name cigars, Swishers, Dutches, Optimos, White Owls, Phillies, wraps, etc. Go to various gas stations. BPs around here especially carry anything you want really.

I can fit 2 grams in a Swisher cigarillo easily. I prefer to smoke cigarillos but I don't over stuff them to the point where a blunt really becomes a waste of weed (unless you're planning on smoking with about 4 people).

I was raised on swishers then optimos with an occasional garcia vega thrown in the mix every once in a while. I dont smoke blunts much, rather have a nice joint, but imo Dutches are truly superior. Yes they are hard as hell to find especially the cigarillos I only find them at select smokeshops. Ordering them online is the best way for fresh Dutches. Never understood the hype about Backwoods, for me they are harsh as hell and I prefer the taste of a Dutch or Vega to the Woods.

the thing i hate most about backwoods is how they make your fingers smell like shit when it gets down to the roach.

plus teh smoke is just harsh and bad tasting, and the leaf feels flimsy and easy to rip.

Found Dutches here at a smoke shop. Not the Master Collection(my favorite) but I found them. :joint:

Also backwoods vary by leaf. You can get thin ones that rip easily or you can get thick ones that burn super slow. They are not for everyone I guess, but if you smoke with me I'm gonna pass a B-Dub. If you don't wanna smoke it that's all you, not hurting my feelings any. :joint:

I got ma science pipe but when i'm driving around in someone's car i need a big fucking cigar that can fit a gram-two (or 7) of weed no matter how strong.

do you guys have speedways and BP gas stations there? I'm from Michigan, and we have all the popular brands of blunts at various places if you look around.
