nice! i have the same 3k, two rooms on a flip flop, vertical. in the winter months, an intake will suffice for sure. for summer i run a 12k portable ac in each room, works perfectly, can get my room down to 60 f with lights on if i want....

right now its from 40-60 during the day, so everything is fine. my i was wrong with explaining my ac situation. i flip flop between 1 3k room and 1 6k room, both are cooled by a single 12k portable ac....
Condensation (I'm suprised no one has mentioned it considering) You cannot pull freezing cold air into aircooled hoods running 1k lights without creating condensation, This will in turn cause wear and tear on your fan and before you know it, Water will start dripping from your hoods and ducting and even the fan!
Its ok to use cool air but cold or freezing cold air is a sure fire way to cause condensation problems which will shorten the life of the fan and more.
I'd rethink your concept a bit....

damn krunch, thats pretty cold. Your rooms are the shit, hopefully someday i can set up rooms like you do. Hopefully i dont need an AC until i knock out a harvest or two.
and Blazeoneup, i already have revised my plan and will be cooling each side with a 8 inch HO can fan with can 100 filter. sucking air from the room.
i picked up all the ballasts, 4 yield master supreme hoods because the shop didnt have enough, 2 8 inch can fans, 1 450 cfm dayton blower with 2 4" outputs. ummm a air 3 temp and humidity controller, probably some other shit i cant remember. I still need a decent amount of stuff.
room will get panda plastic tomorrow and hopefully the wiring ran and timers hooked up. And i will for sure post up some pics for you guys once the plastic is hung, keep forgetting my camera when going house to house.

i picked up some more small shit today, just waiting on a couple more hoods and still gotta wire the room and the timers.
I ran panda plastic inside the rooms today so hopefully within the week i will be hooking shit up, and doing dry runs for temps. By the weekend i should have 48 clones vegging on one side. Cant wait for this to get going.

Man I always love to see the photo of all that cash (that's not a cheap pile you have there either). The rooms looking good, that door you have has only got a primer coat and will need a good coat of paint to last in the high humidity. Remember with paint never use oil based paint as it will actually increase the growth of mold and mildew.

and the door is an insulated exterior door i think, they were pretty expensive. I will run them for a couple weeks and see how it goes they're the same doors as my garage. If theyre having issues i will for sure throw some paint on them. Thanks for the tip

i finished all the wiring and finished one room. Just waiting on the hydro shop so i can finish the other side.
The exhaust fan runs for 3 minutes about every 8 minutes. I havn't installed my intake yet, so i have a feeling that will reduce the time the exhaust runs. The exhaust fan pulls some serious air. It sucks the panda plastic in like 6 inches on the sides.
Im pretty happy with how its coming together so far, when we fired up the lights it is fucking bright in there.
I am getting ready to fuckin punch my partner, i have had a partner for 2 weeks and its driving me nuts. He is lazy as fuck, and opens up the door to go outside while the door in the room is open. it shines straight into the neighbors house. I built it all myself and i cant wait until i can go out and get another one set up of my own. FUCK PARTNERS.

got another question and dont want to start a new thread.
what do you guys think about oscillating fans, do they really strengthen stems and shit?
i already have a can fan 8" HO fan cooling each 3kw and getting rid of odor.Also 2 4" Can fan. I have a 4" on each side to blow some heat from the lights on room, and blow it into the other room, which will be dark at the time. And i have a big dayton blower blowing cold air through a 4" duct into each room. So theres a good amount of air movement.

i will post some pictures up tomorrow when my partner is gone. I finished the whole thing within the last couple days. I have 13 clones in one side that hopefully start vegging good. Should end up with about 30-40 clones which isnt nearly enough to fill them up. I lost my heating pad and they went the first week without one. Im thinking that is the reason they are taking so long to root.
Next batch will have the heating pad so we will see.
Really regretting having a partner right now. I have done 95% of the work and 100% of the planning. He is bringing nothing to the table. I will be going to do my own thing in another place after the first couple harvests. This will be my last partnership, unless i miraculously meet someone that knows their ass from a hole in the ground.
He can fuck off that lazy fuck. Im glad i have my girlfriend and IC MAG to bitch haha, most of you have probably made the mistake of having a shitty partner. Thank god i have one of the few good women i can talk to or i would be one hostile motherfucker. Thank god for good women... peace dudes, there was a question up at the top if anyone reads this haha.
