Cool, good Gdp info... So where is the Jedi strain these days?

Edit: Looks like jedi is a White Rhino x Lions Gate or Skywalker hybrid that might be available. I remember it as clone only elite.

I can't find Jedi anywhere! If you find it, let me know!

Jedi was a winner, it was in full force for awhile back then... I am sure its around. Godzookie is around in the shops as dried nugs here and there, have not seen cuts though.

Used to live in SD. Just wanted to pop in and say DAMN!!!

That panama red cross looks amazing. What amazing color.

Loved Jedi when I lived down there. We were getting Pure Kush, Jedi, Trainwreck, Afghani, Bullrider. We got a cut of a strain called Jah Love from some girl.

The best herb I saw was a Kali Mist x Hawaiian. Or so they said. The smell was amazing, the high was super clear. The taste was phenomenal. We would get it from a friend of a friend. It was always in limited quantity and seemed to be for this guys personal friends only.

If anyone knows about ^^ Let me know.

nope, take black jack for example.
one version is jack herer x black domina
the other is superjack x blackberry
common names are not governed by a set of rules in the way scientific names are

Weekly update with Voo...

My new chocolope. Was about 3 feet tall, I cut the thing back massively at the PNC farmers market and then managed to transplant shock/nute burn it when I brought it back. Yeah, yeah, I know, stop pushing em so hard. Im expecting this thing to about double in size over the next week. I am very excited about this strain mainly cause Ive never had a thai and certainly never one that tasted like chocolate.

The Alien Dawg has EXPLODED since I put it into "flower." I seem to have a recurring "super veg" situation for the first 2 weeks of all of my newly flowering plants. Im totally ok with it, but they're getting HUGE.

Both the Amstel Golds are truckin along, ignore the white residue, its milk/bifenthrin. I saw a spider mite and went nuts.

Chernobyl is my favorite smelling plant, ever. If the buds smell like the plant does (its spicy) Im going to be in heaven.

The Sour Diesel is amazing. That is all.

The Purple X OG Kush seems to be getting ready to turn funny colors. Can't wait.

Thanks to those who have been so nice for the help, advice, genetics, etc. I am truly loving this go around!

Thanks sub, its east coast. I gotta tell ya, I was unsure as to whether the CFLs would penetrate deeply enough (insert joke) into the sour d's canopy to really get her going. Im absolutely stoked that it worked.

Vodoo, how many watts of CFLs are you using in flo.... how many in veg?

Vodoo, how many watts of CFLs are you using in flo.... how many in veg?

I have challenged myself to use as little energy as possible while still pulling maximum weight. We shall see how well my ideas hold up, but I used to sell lighting for a living...

Small veg/clone (2x2x1.5) is 2 26watt CFLs for a total of 52 watts.
Med/Large veg (3x2X2.5) is 5 26watt CFLs for a total of 130 watts.
Flowering (3x3x4 area) is 16 26watt CFLs for a total of 416 watts.
Also running an honeywell 8 inch tabletop fan which is 62 watts.
Total energy consumption: 660 watts. Flowering making up 478 (72%) of it.

Lumen density and the inverse square law are the key with CFLs, so since my lights are right on top of the plants (1 inch spacing) I have rated lumens whereas with typical lighting setups you have to distance the bulb from the plant to keep temps down. Flowering is 24,000 lumens 1 inch from the plants. A typical 600 watt HPS bulb churns out around 95,000 lumens within the first few inches, but has to be placed 3 feet above the plants, making its useable lumen output closer to 25-30,000 at 2 feet and more like 12-15,000 at 3 feet.

I've been meaning to step up veg to 6 bulbs, but I'm in no hurry until things start moving out of the flowering room.

Spicoli thank you for the compliment, I will try my best! Competing with Humble may be impossible at this point. Church sounds interesting, always interested in pics, details...

The alien dawg is amazing, this is the Cherry pheno, so I cannot wait to start seeing the plant stack on serious weight.

I just realized I did this all in point form, I need to lay off the Purple Trainwreck.

That P91 is a heaaavvyy feeder in the potassium department, she really enjoys a nice shot of magnesium as well. I'll post some pics once she's dialed. She's definitely been a challenge but I think I've finally figured her out.

Here's the RKS x DC pheno #2 52 days in , 8 weeks on Tuesday, I'm thinking she'll get the axe on Thursday...
