UK Outdoor Growing 2009

nah. we're expecting our second child in april, and the mrs. has made an official request that we keep the garden contraband free for 2010... she's cool, but suffers heavy paranoia, and there are gonna be nurses and the council coming round... it's a little silly (in my opinion, of course!), but i hope to have grown enough to get through a good portion of 2011...

i do, however, hope to consult/convince as many of my friends to grow in their gardens as possible! maybe a bit of germing an' ting upstairs, but no final harvest, i don't think...

hope everyone's well

:) congratulations!.... still haven't had my order from everyonedoesit.

how bad did the leb cheese's stink?.... say if you had a plot of 30 or so, how far could they be whiffed?

hmmm... the catpiss (which is the ultimate pheno IMO) was a stinker! but a yielder and wonderful smoke... the only catpiss that came out was in a mates garden, and it got to about 7 foot and yielded a good 10zeez... the others weren't as offensive, and all work as far as stoneagew is concerned... i was smoking the 'dreaded' red pheno the other day, and even that was great! one bowl got me stoned... still a mould magnet, though ...

are you gonna unleash a male or 4 in the plot?

have you contacted EDI??

had a good look through digi microscope not a liveing thing on the plants----even misses said the plants look healthier---i won the war and beat the borg--ill be takeing cuttings from tomorrow---then take cuttings--mid april of the clones---the leb cheese got ravaged--but is still hanging on---harold pm me---wam a little gorrilla plot will add some to the jars and ease the para thoughts a lot--i like the red hot chilli peppers---and police in heleicopter by some black geezer called tosh

should get my order next week, fingers crossed...

thats good to know, that they dont whiff too bad... i do love smelly herb, but dont wont to ruin the stealth of my site, as a few other plants will be there :)

my plan for the males.... i will grow a good number of leb cheeses and will cull all inferior males. A few special males will be seperated and used for pollen collection, maybe a nice cat piss pheno cloned & bonsai'ed? I plan to bonsai special examples of both sexes... maybe several? after testing this will probably be reduced to a few?

cheers harry

hey minime - no, the clone you've got is the biddy early x leb cheese. it's one of the most powerful plants i grew last year, that's for sure. if you can hang on to that one, you're in for a treat. you've also got some of the last few sensi star x leb cheese f1 seeds, which have given the best smoke of the season... did you get some pure lebcheese too?

lebanese cheese pheno's thus far are:

black/purple 'tar': leb dom. awesome flavour. just under 2oz. warm social buzz.

red 'tropical': fruity-ish flavour, big yield, but mould magnet. yileded nearly 3 oz, but lost half to mould. leb dom. good sativa stone. NOTE: this plant was the most vigorous in growth... an early fave, and still probably the worst pheno due to mould problems...

stinky: was really smelly in veg, and purpled up a load too... good flavour and stone. cheese expression, but leb dom.

babe: unusual sweet nose. AMAZING trich production and bud size... wonderful smooth smoke with a gripping stone. a keeper. slight mould, though...

catpiss: the main cheese pheno, imo. big yields, high pungency, great product for commercial. was choppped 2 weeks early (end september), which was a great pity. it was special already, but i think thoose 2 weeks would have revealed the true nature of the catpiss pheno i.e mid october. keeper.

mango: also a treat. nearly as good as the catpiss.

all plants were stable. no herms in any of the plants. i'm a little worried about the genetic limits (single initial parents, single second male with 3 females for the f2) but stabillity and just good damn smoke make me think it should it should be bred to the next level, for our uk outdoor needs.

take it away, boys!

that's basically the perfect idea, harry! are you going to germ the whole lot? i hope so!! :D

50 seeds should give 25 of each sex (duh! ;))... cull males down to 5 or so, depending on how many good 'uns... you may end up with more! collect pollen from all samples and mix.

females... i guess you'd get 3 of each pheno... cull the red, take cuts from and pollinate the rest!! you'll probably end up keeping the catpiss (and mango), the babe and maybe the tar. the tar pheno isn't all that for bag appeal, but the flavour and stone are wonderful...

anyway, it's kid time!

Has anyone out there had any success in making femmed autos using CS? If there is already a thread on this please point me in the right direction cos i am curious and i am shocked at how much they are being sold for!

will keep an eye out for you, it wouldnt be much different from making normal fem seeds id imagine...

i would have a go myself, but im starting to lean towards the natural (male/female) method more.

INIIIIIIIT!!!!

we'll have you growing again by the end of 2010 ;)

smoked up on the dreaded red pheno, to do the house cleaning (only had work till y'day) and my my... one small bowl (by my std's ;) ) get's you ROCKED! still would chop it if i couldn't be there to watch it, though...

i'm actually quite excited for my vicarious 2010 grow!! i've got one confirmed garden thus far (short eccentric bloke, who like processed cheese slices, and their interior decorating applications, for bucks' benefit! lol)... and i'll be here, and on the next thread swinging my almighty wisdom wand . i'll be the resident non participant consultant :rolleyes::rolleyes:
