pps. my application for the MMAR program in no way advocates "medical" marijuana or the laws behind it. i just cant handle getting charged or going to jail after my last run in with johnny law. i think the whole system is bullshit and i find many medical marijuana patients on this board to be arrogant douche bags in the way they look down on illegal growers.

i just sent my renewal in june to be ahead of the game, and went through some bs with a bigger script, health canada said the amount "seemed" high and recommended a second signing becuase there have been major fruad happening by persons forging new amounts due to the fact the "amount" page was signed by my doc, i get him to sign every piece of paper being sent to hc for saftey reasons.

i wouldnt take others points of view so personally. many illegal growers really need meds, and many med growers dont "need" them but manipulate the system.

medical marijuana is not commercial pot masquerading as a new slogan. it really is a different grade. i know alot of med growers who grow beatsers and closet growers who grow meds? subject to so many factors.

our medical system needs reform and credability. the plant will and has put alot of power brokers out of business, and will more in the future, becuase only the truth will set the planet free. d

The Dr's have indeed found a niche in a market. I have no problem with entrepreneurs making money.
The problem I'm having with all this, is the monopoly. Only they can fill the prescription for the patients. At a HUGE mark-up price, their sole purpose being to fatten their wallets. They have a very specific clientele, the SICK.
Most patients are on disability with a low fixed income. To some, $1000 is not much money, but to others $1000 is a life savings. Pay up, or risk going to jail for being poor...This is bullshit...

I have been asking the same question for a couple of years now....
at the moment it seems like the most reliable option is social networking.... there is no site/government agency that wants to do it... at least not at the moment anyway...

There was a site a few months back that black ra1n and a couple of others emailed, but I have yet to hear any news on that.... so I'm thinking its just a false hope for the moment...

I am still searching for a patient... to no avail... if anyone needs a grower let me know ... I have lots of education... lol

I think it would be helpful to have a list of the Dr.'s email addy's and great form letter outlining the benifits of cannabis and sent to their email addy's. Enough of this running around. If they can't inform themselves and we can't start reporting their shitty conduct then we are just as guilty. Now I'm just reporting them as I have had enough.. enough running around and enough of this attitude about stupid laws that we are getting NOWHERE with. I think the only way this will chance is someone will have to take this to court and a judge will have to see how truely bad this is for not only the poor but the sick. This is where they verify that your Dr's credentials match up. I want to be a real bug and stay on their asses about speeding this up. Been over 2 months now...

ive had two docs laugh at me and tell me that some of their aids/hiv patients have a hard time getting approved so theres no way they are signing mine

^^^^if you read and follow the steps ive given on the first page, doctors will respect you are educated on the matter, and maybe realise they are uneducated. noodles said the same thing you did, but when he really listened to what i had to say, he got the signature, d
