I agree cause I for sure have some questions. I've spent the last few months on a research project and got heavily into humates/humic acid/fulvic acid as part of it.

One question I have is do you do sap pH testing or are you aware of this? Kick up a thread somewhere and lets get going.

hey cali...i cant speak for anyone else...but i can say i had no prob when you brought up the issues you brought up...it was after, when things started to get repetitive and it felt like there was a lil gangin up going on that i thought i would say something..the nature of internet boards is to have a lil pile on action no matter the subject and thats where offense is taken by people...it needed to be brought up and im glad you did...it is strictly the fact that it kept stringing along that made me say something....
...i do not accept, w/o question, the story...but the similarities are too many to out of hand dscount the story either...

Yea bro, for one I could care less about one particular strain. I think it was more of the fact that it could be anyone and it was hard to not hear proof, it was kinda dragging for sure to hear these long ass posts....I guess it was just also the fact that this random new dude comes in saying he is the SHIOT. While we've been working on IC for a few years now. And I know I havent been growing for years, but shit there are tons of people on here that actually have grown for 20 yrs + and they deserve respect.

Basically for me to respect ANYONE, I need to see them doing work for a couple years at least on IC so I can watch the progress. I came to this site doing nothing and now I have documented every grow I do. Respect comes with time.

its ALL good, folks! no problem here...and i am quite used to dissent and differences of opinion. I have argued with Ed and Jorge when alot of folks would not. It is not always about being popular but about getting to the bottom of it. A good argument is a good thing...but the platonic argument, not the mean ad-hominem sort...so it was a good excercise, even if frustrating at times. And since we are on the subject of plato (ok, i was anyway..lol) i am a firm follower of THAT type of wisdom. I absolutely hate people saying..."Im so good at this...i know it all" and that is exactly what i resorted to in my defense. It was sad for me as well and i would have hated me for some of the things i was saying. But...i felt the need to explain, and provide something to give me credibility...maybe i went to far..again who knows, and i am not perfect...like plato, i feel that the more i admit i do not know, the more i actually know. I am not a no-it-all but felt like my credibility was challenged...it was actually embarrassing for me, wether true or not, to type that i was the most educated person i have met here....i really dont know if that is true or not. Maybe, someone far more educated is sitting right here reading this and being far more humble than i. Restraint is not my finest trait. I do type way too much..have never been able to control that...on my masters dissertation, i had to cut from 2000 down to 200 pages to get from a fail to an A...man was that hard...not that my 200 page paper was better, just that it was readable...i do get it....lol. Caligreen...one suggestion, and i have no idea if it is true, but from what Spicoli is saying (and you obviously respect his word, so not sure why you think he needed to dig deeper if he didnt feel the need, and as he said...he did not want to believe), i understand why he didn't feel the need for more proof. He simply asked someone who would know. MAybe it was the folks at seedless (they are an SD company to the heart, que no?)...or some other folks out there who know me. I have been at this a while, and like i said, many many growers in LA and SD know me well. I am suprised that nobody here has yet to say...."Damn, ROb, is that you?? Where have you been..." Because the folks who grew the p back in the day do know me well, and i still see most of them often, to this day. Simply put, there are a lot of folks out there who know me and this story and can vouch for me....i assume that happened and am glad for it. I actually asked a couple of oldtimers to come on here and explain, but from what i have seen, they would have been challenged too...lol....serioulsy. (and as was said...it really doesnt matter if you believe the ME part of the story, as long as we can hopefully at least adjust the history of the p91 so that people stop calling it an NL strain, cuz it simply isnt and that misinformation was being spread wide and far and folks wanted the true genetic make up, not a story made up.) Sadly, however, i doubt if Rez or BOG or Chem came up here, they would get the same challenges...in fact, i know what happens when they show up. Is it because i am not MORE self-acknowledging?? i dont know? OH HELL NO....did he really just put himself in that category of breeders?? lol again...yep, im sorry, but i am a breeder and also a geneticist..not just art but science, and many folks who are doing this, dont grasp the science of it. If a grower needs to be here on IC for a couple years tp get your respect...that is kind of a weird criteria to be given for respect as a grower....because they post on IC they are legit?? soory, i disagree with that. I am pretty good friends with some of the best breeders on earth that you HAVE heard of, and most are not up here...they deserve respect as we all do. I earned mine years ago and dont really need it here, nor did i ever demand respect or credit...but i do deserve at least the credit for what i did do....

pps...and i do respect what you are saying about p91 being old news...but i hate to say, and it is just my humble opinion, i have seen NOTHING that has yet to compare to p91 done right (that includes all of my strains since then too)....would love to, but havent. Yep, i know Chem, have all those strains, and some of them come close, as do some of the SFV kush's (im friends with the valley folks also...and know the REAL breeders of the SFV kush), etc....but me and the folks who grew the p91 in the days all wish we had it back...and none of us have any trouble getting any of the other strains...so.....we all have preferences...but i understand.......

It is surprising how similar the plants are as far as structure, pistilate pattern(squiggly), budsite quantity and placement. I know everyone was saying that this was the same as the Salmon Creek from up north so is this the cut that PNC is selling as Salmon Creek now? I think I have to get used to the taste of weed "budder"....Tried some on a piece of toast with cinnamon and the taste was too much to stand....Had to cover the thing with jam as well haha. Tonight I made some Weed Mac and Cheese. Taste is much better, or at least much more bearable. I think if my math is right, I just ingested about 2 grams worth of Green Ice budder! I'll let you know if I actually feel anything later. PEAAAAAAACE

i think the reason there was such a shit-storm... ogp91 wasnt as detailed in this thread as he was in the other "P91" threads.
In the "P91 info" and "p91" threads, ogp91 goes into more details of the whole process of how P91 came to be. It was those threads that i linked to my buddy. My friend was part of the crew commercially growing p91. This is not heresay, this is fact. My buddy checked out the threads, and said its legit... Thats all i needed to know. So i didnt really have to keep questioning him any deeper.
As much as its a shock/ hard to believe.... Like for real, WHAT THE FUCK!? the dude who bred p91!?!?! seriously!? i was like, cmon now... thats just straight bullshit.. I seriously wanted to flame him so bad.
But instead of saying anything, i immediately emailed my buddy the links. and yadda yadda....

On the subject of P91... My mother plant of her has been struggling. She was looking really really good, and i took a nice big top clone off her... She immediately started going down hill after that... I transplanted her a few days ago, and the roots all looked so old and withered... I hope she fully recovers, last i looked at her yesteday she was starting to look a little better.
