Yes, take a small piece of paper towel, fold it over unto you have like a 1x1 inch square. wet it and press it between the palm of your hands until you squeezed most of the water out. It should still feel kind of damp. Place in the jar, close the iid and check on it every hour until the bud is moist enough for you.

An orange peel(like stated above), a slice of an apple, or something that you are more likely to have laying around the house, a slice of bread. I have even gone as far as to wet the ends of q-tips and stuck them into jars.

1 squirt from a spray bottle from 8" away from the jar and close it back up and shake it around for a while, then set it upside down and check it tomorrow.

I have used apples, orange peel's, lettus, but flower tortia shells are apsolutly the best. they dont mold like fruit, or produse any adverce oder. give it try and you will see too.
tear a small peice for a jar or use a couple in a bag for a pound or more.

all the above are decent suggestions but in my experience the best thing to do is to snap off a couple fresh fan leaves from a plant you have in veg,or flower...a leaf from the same strain would be ideal but any will work yo...just pop a leaf or 2 in each jar, throw the lid on for a while and youll be back in there my man.
hope this helped ya,it helped me a long time ago when i did the same thing.should only take 1-2 hrs.to freshen a jar back up and you dont get any other tastes like from the apple or whatever...just weed helpin weed :D

tonatiuh - he said he didn't have any leaves.

i'd like to second the recommendation of using a flour tortilla. no mold, no wetness of an apple slice, no smell, and it does a great job.

i've used apple slices and orange peels which work fine

probably the best suggestion is using a fan leaf

where the appl slices or orange peel might get you too moist, the leaf will be more like just right

interesting using a tortilla piece? -might have to try that

I wouldn't use water or peels or anything, use a leaf or other piece of the plant if possible but no matter what doing a cure might allow that inner moisture (if any remains) to come out after a couple days versus opening it up every 5 minutes wondering if it is still too dry lol.

My uncle used to roll his own smokes and he used to keep a small wedge of potato in his tobacco to keep it moist. I've tried it and it works pretty well for MJ too. Plus it doesn't have any flavor or smell that it will leave on your herb like apples or orange peels.

if you have a cigar/pipe/tobacco store nearby, you can get these for about $3-$5

you can also make one from two bottle or jar caps with holes drilled in them, then taped together with a piece of paper toweling inside. (easier to just get em at the pipe store)

re-usable, no odor, no mold (unless you get careless and just leave it in, never open it for two months)

I like em
