I like to stick a bottle of Guinness Draft in the freezer and take it out when it is just right. When there is a mix of ice cold beer and ice crystals when it slides down my throat, I swear...I think I'm in Heaven.

damn that looks familiar. That was me from the age of 15-22ish, from 15-18 i was able to drink at home, with my moms approval, called the cops on me for herb though....

Its weird, when i moved to NE i was drinking 12-20 beers a day, everyday, Mostly Yuengling, but occasionally michelob light and other free beer, Now almost 5 years later ive stopped drinking at home, nearly completely. Alcohol just doesnt have that allure for me anymore, I mean i love the taste of some good beer, but I no longer like the following day. I'll drink with friends at a party, or tonight I went and got a 12 pack of Stella. However that was only cause i'm taking a break from MJ. Not counting this beer, the last time I bought beer at home was when we were dosing.... to come down before bed. (around a month ago?)

I love a nice cold beer, especially in the summer.
I like to try new kinds too.

Drinking just 1 beer, often is enough for me to get head pains tough, nowadays I drink some non-alcoholic (.5%) just because I think alcohol is nasty, I still enjoy a nice beer because it's like a ritual, appreciation of the moment, like drinking tea.

Non-alc is nice because at least I can drive after, I just smoke a spliff of something nice, and I get all the head enjoyment I need

I I will probably get smashed again on good occasions,
I have seen a lot of eager-to-drink people (alcoholics) and I am one to learn from people's mistakes

Brewing your own beer (or wine) seems like such a nice experience, maybe some time

yeah for sure, when you do to much it kind of overwhelms you. At a festival, some dude that was tripping like crazy sold me a qtr and told me it was and eighth. worst mistake ever.

Ya I've had some bad experiences tripping at festivals. It can be overwhelming at times. Although I seen george clinton at a festival last week and tripped balls on some acid and had a hell of a time.

yea if i did the whole eight it would have been too much, the low dose was way more fun than my mindfuck trips that i used to do back in high school..

6 years, ten semesters because i havent been in school for a couple years.

this is NOT a beersnob thread. when i have money i get down with the good stuff, Hoegarden white ale, Crema Cervesas, Blue Moon, Kirin Ichiban, and anything by Pyramid is what im down with. Gotta love that sierra nevada summer fest too.

i drink the cheap stuff (ice, miller) because i like to binge drink and you cant drink 12 sierras without throwing up. Plus at 1.59 for 2.5 beers, its a way better deal than the others which are about 1.59 per 12oz...

thats how i feel with mushies, i havent done them in about 5 years. i had a few scary trips and stopped messing with them.

but thats why the low dose is the way to go. a very pleasant trip without the anxiety and super strong hallucinogens. Kinda felt like a half pill of E. I ate two caps and a stem for a total of 1.8, put them on a blue berry jam muffin to kill the taste.

Considering that you're at icmag I'm guessing that it has the possibility to become a beersnob thread. With a thread title like this one it's bound to attract people that appreciate the best of the best simply because they are in a crowd of likeminded potheads who think the same thing about weed.... Life's too short to smoke shitty herb.

PS Binge drinking is neither fun or likeable after college
